Today's Courier confirms both Sam and Josh Barlow have signed one year deals to play for Fax next season.

Excellent news for the team, the squad is getting stronger with each announcement.

I had it on good authority by "fans in the know" that Sam had done his deal with Wakefield. It's becoming a bit unreliable on here lately

Glad the Wakey thing was all a pile of Bull...

Good news keeps coming. Its always the case littlerich at this time of year, people think they know sometimes dont. I think its good that the signings are being unveiled officially.

We need a few more player this year J20, we have 2 teams to build. Some players we are signing will step up from our under 23's in 1 or 2 years time. Building for the future to some extent.

Fantastic news. I understand we have a high profile attacking signing next week; the rumour keeps coming back from a source who have proved himself before....

The person who started the Wakey rumour was Sam himself, he's been saying it for over 12 months

i know for a fact that Sam didnt start it i am very good friend s with Sam, Josh their older brother Adam Sam signed last week for Fax Josh signed yesterday fax were waiting so they could make a joint statement. Josh is a big forward who is bigger then Sam forward thinking like Sam.

i also think we should be looking at local teams for the U23's some good player that wont be high on salary.

Great news on the Barlow girls, I know them all very well as do lots of folks who follow 'Fax and I'm chuffed for everyone concerned, I hope things work out for Josh, it must have been tempting to go back to Oz, I understand there had been something in place for him to go back there. He played a bit at hooker with the Hudds academy last season, so his all round game is developing nicely.
Once again, next season lokks like it's going to be very competetive.

Good point, had forgotten about that part of things. Though IIRC players over 21 do count on first team cap and not sure on rules for players coming from eslewhere? I.e. if we signed Ben Davies on big contract from Wigan etc etc. Be interesting to see how your 23's (or whatever we are calling it this year) takes shape
