Desire to get Eagles into Super League-What to then merge with some one and start again!!

Great ambition Mark. Super league is minimum of 4 years away, lot can happen till then so take the opportunity whilst you can.
He must have seen sight of their books! However due to their location they're guaranteed a license so no threat of relegation and any money probs the RFL would just bail them out again. Sounds a safe job.
He would have had to go on a crash course in English so the southerners could understand him though.

Super league ambition my backside. If he goes to quins and fails he gets sacked if he stays at the eagles he has a job as long as he wants it. Not a great fan of the arrogant so and so but i think he is a good coach and is very capable of getting the best out of players .

def think he has made the right long term decision for "Mark Aston" flattered to get a call from a Sl club, but as a pre poster said sacked in a couple of years if not soon! far better off in his comfort zone at the Seagulls

Just a thought with people referring to Quins Location, and the Eagles as the Seagulls, why doesn't he merge the Sheffield Club with Quins RL then move it all Lock stock and Barrell to Southampton...
