Nice to hear from him though, he may lack the financial clout of other chairmen, but hes kept the ship floating through some rocky seas, helped bring in some good players and got us competing for what we should be doing.

Why? In recent times Travel companies and Furniture companies have been selling products right up until the minute they have gone bust. I agree. Dont get me wrong, I aint saying MS is lying as I like him as a bloke. But some supporters (not just HRLFC) too easily believe the word given out by their clubs. It is far too easy for club owners to feed wrong propaganda to the supporters of the club.

Why can't our fans get in their heads that we do not have a Ken Davy (Huddersfield), Steve O'Connor (widnes), Des Johnson (Barrow), Ken Wilkinson (Salford) and whoever is bankrolling Fev benefactor.
We have messed up this year no arguing with that (the Challenge Cup and NRC debacles) but we are one of the clubs that live on what the club raise through lotteries, shop, crowds and sponsors plus yes quite a few quid from our few dedicated Directors, but nothing like those at the clubs above.

I think we do well considering.

I cannot stress that ALL fans need to be in Cashfax as that is the best way to support the club financially as well as getting a season ticket!

If you read the interview backwards you will notice that Michael is planning to release a vial of anthrax at Warrington on Sunday. The club also owes £15m to Dixy Chicken and has recently signed up Blockbuster Video and The Connaught Group as next season's sponsors.

Not feeling the negativity. Simply pointing out a fact that a lot of businesses keep on trading to the very minute they go bust. Like i said im not saying that Halifax will do that, just pointing out a simple fact. I like veryone else(well apart from TF2 as it is an away game) will be there tommorow cheering on the boys and shouting myself horse.

I think with the mistakes made off the pitch getting to the Grand final was vital and I have heard we or on the verge of a new major sponsor so I think things next season will be quiet bright. Happy days

People are inperfect. We make mistakes thats life. Mr Steele may have made a couple of big ones this year maybe not. I do know that without him and a couple of other directors we would be in ab even worse state. A few years ago we nearly lost this club. Thanks to Mr Steele amongst other directors, Supporters and Sponsors we now have one of the best clubs outside SL. Mr Steele might be waffling maybe not. But for me I would like to say Thanks to him and the others that have kept our club alive and kept it going to see us reach 2 Grand Finals. What next year brings we do not know. Just go out tomorrow and enjoy it. It could be the last Grand Final for a few years or we may return next year. But lets just all focus on tomorrow and worry about the future aterwards.

What a brilliant post I too would like to thank the directors and everyone else who puts money , time and effort into our club however small or large that contribution maybe. I hope tomorrow brings us a win for us all to celebrate but if not two finals on the bounce has to be something to celebrate anyway and I know we will all enjoy it.
However why not lets all try to ensure that it won`t be our last Grand Final for a while
we could all do that bit extra to help shape the Clubs destiny and give the Directors a bit of a hand. We could all start after this weekend , again it does not matter how large or small the contribution is but just that your prepared to go that extra mile.
Lets all try to buy a season ticket early , join the Fax lottery , join the Supporters Trust or support an event or even just buy a raffle ticket in the ground . All these things add up ,an extra pound by many would make a massive differance to the club.
We could all help to keep this club the best out of Super League and the things we fall short on learn from them so it doesn`t happen again.Come on the Fax let`s have a win tomorrow we deserve it.
