Why dis the guys thread? He is new to the forum and is raising a topic that may have been covered previously but give him a chance.

I would say Preston was the most exciting winger we had but obviously would struggle in todays game which is full of size and power in the outside backs.

Remember Alex Murphy basically saying in his Sunday paper column how crap Schuster was when we first signed him!!!!

I didn't see anybody 'dis' the thread, all that was said was his wingers were very good choices.

when you see those four names you know how we had the best back line in the game in those days and few ever equalled it since.

Agree with them 4 however, Robbie Beckett wasnt too bad,greg florimo was a legend,henry sharp was memorable,daio powell did us a job too, and thats without looking too deep.Nick Pinkney-anyone remember him.
