Just noticed on the Dulls site the Club has started a "pledgeathon" asking all fans to sign up now for a season ticket. If they get 10,000 pledges before Oct they will get a season ticket for £60. I think that is a very cheap price for watching Super League but the way Bradford have been playing of late does anyone think it will tempt 10,000 to commit? Also if they do would it be value for money?

For the bargain price of £60 you can cheer for every other team in SL and watch Bradford get hammered every week! Get pledging, you know you want to.

It's a good idea in theory but I think the 10,000 is very ambitious!

Must be desperate up there for the money.

It`s probably been set delibratly high ,all these extra people buying the season ticket but if it stops at say 9,500 they still don`t get any extra off. Maybe it would have been fairer to have staggered it a little , I seem to remember Leigh doing this a couple of years back .

Its only a pledge at this stage, so if they only get 9500 and declare that the price is £180 then 9500 people will not buy them.

Other clubs have run similar schemes in the past

Dewsbury did the 40/20 scheme, Adult Season Tickets for £40 and Childs for £20.

Huddersfield had tickets for £100 (i think), announced when they had a free admission match.

Other clubs in other sports have had similar ideas where they wanted people to sign up and if they got so many tickets would be hugely reduced, but Im not sure how many if any achieve their targets.

They couldn't PAY ME enough to stand in that dump of a stadium with all those sad sacks!

Fair comment. I'd be amazed if Bradford have ever had 10000 season ticket holders registered.
