| Tonight was a good night, a decent game and we won - well played lads. There was a good crowd and a good pint in the Shears after.
Oh and it was that bit sweeter because it was mighty Widnes.

Delighted we won and the team spirit seems to be on a high which should bode well for the play offs, but credit has to go to the young Widnes kids that came in for them tonight, especially the lad at fullback.

| Aye a very very good night. Don't have a clue what Widnes were doing not going for the 2 with that penalty. And yes, very well done to the youngsters. Our guys looked to be playing for each other and we've missed that of late. Looking very good at the moment.

| A good night indeed, both teams played their part in making it an entertaining game.....and the Biff at the end .
Worthy cause as well, worth the journey down and hope you made some decent cash for the Overgate Hospice.

I think we would all wish to thank you and any other SL fans who attended tonight. Overgate is an outstanding provision for people at what could be a desperate stage in life and deserves every bit of support it receives. in an ideal society it shouldn't need to survive reliant upon charitable funding but thank god people like yourself (and the people of calderdale) recognise the value of what they do. tonight is also a wonderful example of the way in which the RL family continues to support things that really matter irrespective of club loyalties

| Would just like to say Thanks for a cracking night at the Shay!
It is some years since I have last been, really like the new stand you have built (Some will say about time) but by the looks of it, money well spent.
It's always a good day/night when you go to Halifax and as a Rhino was made very welcome!
Anyone know the attendance?
Back to reality now with our game tonight against the Pie Eaters!

Glad you enjoyed it mate.
Sky showed attendance as being 2707, but can't remember hearing any announcement at the ground.

It was, and i read somewhere you where targetting 2500 so a great turnout.
Like Southstander i would also like to thank your fans, and Widnes fans alike, for making us welcome at the Shay, great chatting with both sets of fans (don't think that would be possible in wendyball), although with a Hull FC supporter being with 3 rovers we got some comments and strange looks , all good banter mind, .
And many thanks to the fans wishing us a safe journey home. Great atmosphere, great evening.

| One thing I noticed on the pitch last night, was that at times, both TJ's were stood in line with the defence, rather than one being in line with the play the ball to judge on forward passes. This seemed strange as we certainly pushed the line a few times & Smith certainly did.
