I'm pretty sure you weren't allowed to transfer to another stand inside the ground once you had entered. This point was also emphasised by several signs inside the ground and on the turnstiles.

So can anyone tell me why a group of Widnes fans including the brain donor with the drum were allowed to transfer from the East to the South Stand?

Must admit I wondered the same.. Stewards not all on the same page?

I don't know how it why they were allowed to transfer, but I'm glad they did, I just wish they would have took dean gaskells girlfriend with them, she was an absolute nightmare and swore the whole game.

i would go as far as to say she was a total disgrace and did a massive dis-service to the the majority of widnes fans, she never shut up from the minute she arrived until she left, she never stopped whining and whinging, and had a real problem with Nashy, me thinks ther must be some history there

and as for the fight Gasgill defo head hunted Nash and started a fight that was as nastry as i have seen in a long time

yes i watched the game on sky and gaskell came over the top n Nash had every right to be pee'd off but would someone please explain to to me why Gannon didnt get a warning and earn himself a 10 minute sit down?

Gannon was beyond lucky with the offences he was comitting.

im not sure if hes just dirty on hes getting a bit slow but im sorry he should have got a sin bin tonight for repeat offences

Crossed wires I reckon, the female steward with the radio told the 2 blokes manning fence that it was not to happen again in no uncertain terms. FWIW there was already a Widnes drummer in the South Stand before they let the other one in.

You would have had a harder time of it if Gannon was Binned, he got you more field position than all your backs combined ( Ok slight exagaration ).

He was Terrible tonight, on a night when we needed him to lead the line.

hey i dont doubt hes a good player on his day but i think tonight the bloke was poor and his mistakes helped us but the officials werent on their best game either but we got the result so im pretty happy

The funny thing was, I tried to get across to the East Stand 10 minutes after the game for a quicker way back to the car only to be told by the Steward I couldn't go across



Didn't take it too kindly when i said "Oh right, I forgot you needed a Widnes shirt to move across"
