What had the announcer been on at half-time, coming out in the second half with his nicknames Rob 'The Warrior' Worrincy and Lee 'Red Boots' Patterson? Whatever it was, I want some.

3 pts - Big Frank, Never stopped running and killed the opposition every time he got the ball.
2 pts - Wozza, Right place at the right time. Immense contribution with 4 tries and once or twice would have given Usane Bolt a run for his dosh.
1 pt - Holly. Genuinely didn't think I'd ever say it again but he was the inspiration and provided the leadership we have been lacking of late. So he doesn't run a lot, doesn't do that much tackling, but boy does he influence a team when he plays. Well done MC, you clearly do know what you're doing (some of the time anyway).

Also of note, I think Sam Barlow did some great work with an unfamiliar team round him. He is just going to get better.

Its decisions like this that makes me feel that MC is the right man for the job. Bringing Holly in despite knowing the slagging off he would get for it from a section of the fans just shows that he has the vision for bringing in what is right for the team and correcting it when it is going wrong. Resources must have been tight to bring players in to change things around and he has pulled it out of the bag nicely with Holly. He may just be what will get us to the grand final this year...

What I don't understand is the ridicule from fans of other clubs regarding Holly's age.

He's only 34 ffs, the same age as Senior and Demetriou and 2 years younger than Menzies all of whom are still playing in SL so Championship Rugby should be no problem.
