That was the quote from the Courier tonight and that is what we all probably expected tbh.
Sadly the game tonight was nowhere near a classic it was dire.
If that game was 2 of the top 3 teams then the game is in trouble, it was an AWFUL match, not saying that just because we lost, as a spectacle it was about a 4 out of 10.

Fev deserved to win no argument and stuck to their game plan which worked.
No sour grapes from me BUT it was dour stuff, not much good flowing rugby from either side just one who worked very hard and made less mistakes than the other.
Ask yourself how many good breaks there were in the whole game? About three - two for Fev and one from us.

I was longing for the hooter to go at 65 minutes, to get a bonus point was robbery really we did not deserve it.
Not much atmosphere either even from the quiet until the last 5 mins Fev fans who did not bring as many as I expected.

Didn't hear them much where we were stood at the far side of the South Stand, yer they sang but to say it was a top of the table clash the atmosphere was subdued. Okay we were quiet but not surpsried what did we have to sing about?

on the balance of it Fev probably made more noise than we did and that's dissapointing considering we were at home

Not surprising really mate, not much fun watching your side self destruct and not really get into the game.

the whole place was flat tonight.

if we were trying to impress sky and make us look like super dooper league contenders we didnt do a very good job.

although we could have had an extra 10,000 in and won 82-0 and it wouldnt make a difference to the RFL

The game was intense and very enjoyable, better than the majority of super league games iv seen, and the Fev fans never shut up all game. Enjoy the game for what it is regardless if your team wins or loses

No it wasn't and no there times in the second half where you could have heard a pin drop, but I am not expecting you to agree with me, just slag me off.

Fev fans reminded me how fax barmy army were like 15 years ago with Dale, Mick, Dennis, Ian, Damien, Brian, Rob, BJ, the 2 Justins, and the rest of the thrum hall gang...more intense, more passionate...

They never stop using foul language. When i told one of them to mind his language in front of my little cousin he told me to f### off, obviously i got annoyed then the steward told me to back off. What a joke!!!!
