now just to get fax winning championship trophy this year.

1st, let's be clear, I'm now a 100% confirmed "egg-chaser" - Fax are my "one and only".

Due to family connections (I got married - rather a long time ago...), I also follow Liverpool results, and have been to a few games at Anfield (some good, some dire, but the atmosphere is fantastic).

I also (in my more youthful days) used to have a season ticket for HTFC (for Huddersfield fans, this ain't you).

I say "WELL DONE" indeed to the Shaymen (now "FCHT" of course!) - any sporting success in the town has to be welcomed and applauded (historically, as a town, we don't have a fantastic record!!).

I went to the Lancaster game and was amazed at
a)How many fans were there
b)How passionate they were about their club, the atmosphere was incredible

Thinking of going down on Saturday to see them lift the well deserved trophy. They have played almost 60 games this season and aparently have been consistant throughout.

Weve had a tough 10 years or so both us and the football club especially. Maybe this is a time when our fortunes change. dont want to temp fate but i think the bickering between the 2 clubs seems to have come to and end and long may that continue!

Fax fans on here really have painted a fine picture of themselves with such comments. It is great that both clubs have an optimistic future ahead of them.

regarding the supposed animosity between both sets of supporters, i feel a lot of it is fabricated due to a small number of town fans, probably doing so as a wind up and nothing else after so long

it would be nice if the directors of both clubs came out with some sort of joint statement of support though

I dont feel that is needed to be honest, just both clubs get on with what they do and if the fans want to support one and other thats their choice
