after the shunt down to earth on sunday i thought i would try to focus on the positives, and imo Rob Worrincys form us defo a positive. I think he has improved greatly this season, i always thought he had a great deal of potential but he needed to cut out the silly errors and on the evidence so far this season he has and is one of the first names on the team sheet right now.

How does everyone else see him?

Erm, exactly like that really.

Last season he was frustrating to the the point where every time he ran with the ball I found myself shouting 'two hands!' at him.

This season he looks a different player, confident, made some good take on Sunday, and his run out wide for the try showed confidence he never did last season, where he would have cut inside for a pointless cross field sprint.

Looks good so far, just hope he keeps improving!

Cant fault him and for me has made big improvements. He is like a different player this year and seems to have more confidence. Keep it up mate!

I always thought he'd do a Miles Greenwood. An average first year followed by a belting second year. He looks a much more complete player, and has seemed to have bulked up a bit more. The main thing though, is that he backs himself more! We should be in for much more.

IMPROVED AS LAST YEAR WENT ON AND IMPROVED FURTHER SO FAR THIS YEAR.

As a Leigh fan , i think Worrincy, is a VERY GOOD player ,always seems to cause panic in our defence when he has the ball, i wish he played for us .

Yes, Rob, you are improving in attack, though, I speak for most fans, you need to beat that final man, one on one with a belting sidestep! Haven't seen it yet.

He's beaten the opposition winger on the outside several times already this season, backed himself and come up trumps.Old-style wing play.



Last season he would always come back inside.

I think this is one area where we can say Matt Callands done well, hes brought Miles and Rob on very well so far. Rob just needs to keep it simple, his work rate has been great. Hell still have the odd howler though so be patient.

I'm still waiting to see why Matt gave Cherryholme a starting place. He's shown glimpes of class, but still doesn't seem to use his weight IMO.

Agreed, Neil doesn't quite seem to have that fire in his belly yet, without being rude about him, hes going to have to toughen up and be prepared to take more knocks if he wants to progress his career, he started working really hard at the end of last year and glimpses early on this year, but he seems too lethargic and you compare him to someone like Dave Wrench, whos smaller, slower, older, he just doesn't come to close to Wrenchys steel and never say die attitude yet.

In terms of Worrincy he is my player of the year so far. He has got his confidence we saw while he was at Sheffield back and he is scoring tries he would never have attempted last year.

With Cherryholme I just want to see all the hype he has in his training transferred to the field. You can be the best trainer in the world but if you can't do it on the pitch then there is little point. He has potential, he just has to show a bit of fire and passion.

i think rob's a quality player, i'm glad he's on are side. Keep it up. As for cherry he's not impressed me. He's a big lad he should use his size.
