Tough game last game of season

Tough start to the season with tricky ties away to Batley, Widnes, Featherstone and Whitehaven. If Fax come out of that lot reletively unscathed, they'll be in a great position to make an assault on the title. Fax usually are great starters to a season, so I would think the Fax camp would be happy with the way its come out.

Are Toulouse not playing at Minimes this season? I know they moved their 'bigger' games to another stadium last season but your spreadsheet has them playing at Arnaune all season? It would be a shame if not....that stadium was superb. Touching distance from the players with a good bar and fantastic BBQ. Easy to get to too.

Anyway....wherever we play who cares. Just booked 8 flights from Manc on BMI. If the Barstewards at Sky/RFL change the game to the Thursday night I won't be amused

South Of France in mid August watching Fax

They shifted our game in Toulouse to 4 hours earlier and to a different stadium a fortnight before the game in 2009, so be wary! Going to be a huge test for us to go to Toulouse on Good Friday and then back up at home to Batley on the Monday, but I suppose someone has to do it (well, they don't, but you know what I mean!)

If anyone is interested in the Word Cup Football, England only have two matches that could potentially clash with Halifax fixtures.

They are:

Round 2, if England fail to win their group but qualify in second place. That game will take place at the same time as Dewsbury Away.

Then the only other day we clash is if England make the World Cup Final when we play Whitehaven at home. Although the football takes place over two hours after our game finishes.
