The problem is no rules have been released for the Dual Registration that comes in this year. Which means no one knows how it affects salary cap or how many you can have.
There is maybe no need to have a 30 man squad if you can fill it up with these players. Plus loan players.

have no rules been released ?? if so how come other clubs (notably fev) have sorted their squads completely already ? |

Not sure if rules ‘haven’t been released’ as is mentioed Fev have sorted there’s and from news from Widnes HQ we’re just looking for the best players to sign on duel… i.e. Not a problem with rulings etc!

| New rules are basically this, you can 'borrow' our players, but we can pull them back at 24 hours notice. That would make big games interesting if one team has 4 players all recalled the day before the game. At Leigh last year there was an example. Now while Tom Hemingway isn't the best in the world, he was making a difference, however, the Giants made the CC final, and he was recalled to play in the league game prior to the final so players could be rested, he never played for Huddersfield again. So is this really a good thing, especially if the Chairmen of affected clubs are good mates  |

Well the last i saw on the Dual Registration was that no rules had been released. That was on 21st Oct though, so whether that has changed i haven't heard. In the words of Paul Cullen
