For Billyfax:

I notice on your spreadsheet that on the league table flow chart that you have only added symbols/colours for 6 of the teams. Am I being dense or have you purposely omitted them so we have to add them ourselves?

Also, will you be adding the Sky symbol to the rest of the tba fixtures as and when announced?

1. I will be adding sky symbols as and when Sky annouce future TV games. Plus the spreadsheet will be updated every monday after gameday weekends.

2. The Chart on the league table only shows the top 6, as these are the ones that get into the playoffs. Each team has their own personal chart in the Team Page section.

Two points:
-The Barrow-Toulouse fixtures have been reversed (first Toulouse-Barrow, then Barrow-Toulouse) but they are still in their original order in the spreadsheet.

-Also I think there may be a bug for draws which appear as defeats in the graphic of the time line "Win-Lose-Draw" on the "Team Page".

Just details really. A great tool you have programmed here! Your stuff could be used to demonstrate the possibilities of Excel, it's brilliant really.

I shall make those changes tomorrow at work. Thanks for the feedback!

Another change in fixtures has been announced today:
Barrow and Sheffield have reversed their fixtures.
Barrow will now play at home on Easter Monday - 5th April 2010 - 3.00pm kick off
Barrow will now play at Sheffield on Sunday 27th June 2010 - 3.00pm kick off

Excel Spreadsheet updates:

- Barrow fixture changes home/away to Toulouse & Sheffield
- Problem with Form Graph on team page when there is a draw

If anyone thinks anything is missing or has any suggestions for additions then feel free to let me know.

I've just put in the three results from today, (not got attendances yet), and I notice that although the details have appeared on the relevant pool table, table position has not altered. Does this mean that all results for the round will need to be entered before position changes?

EG: Pool B

Dewsbury hammered Skolars 50-4 yet are still at the foot of the table rather than the top.

I'll check it out but when i put the results in mine, Dewsbury go top with Skolars in 10th.

2. Leigh 3pts 12GD
3. Oldham 1pt -12GD
10. Skolars 0pts -46GD

Sorry, Billy. I found out why it wasn't working right and have rectified the problem. It wasn't anything wrong with your spreadsheet, just me trying to save it incorrectly in OpenOffice rather than using Excel.

My bad.

Updated Excel Spreadsheet with automated Results and Crowd details. To use automation simply click the 'Load Results' button located on the 'League Table page. Function only available in Championship 2010 spreadsheet.

=#408000Tested on excel, not yet tested on Open Office. =#FF0000This function requires internet connection.

This will mean people can update spreadsheet without having to download the latest one just for results.

Bril-lant this spreadsheet, I'll adopt it right away.

I'll try it in OpenOffice and get back to you.

Cheers TS. If you delete any results in the spreadsheet and click the button it should reload them for you automatically.

It's not working in OpenOffice.

You have to adjust the settings for macros to start with.

Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - Security - Macro Security

I set it to Medium so it asks if I want to go any further.

Tried deleting all info from NRC page and then using 'Load Results' button - nothing.

Back to you. Not sure what to do with regards to internet setting.

I'll download openoffice and see what needs to change

Make sure the following options are checked to make sure Spreadsheet will work properly

=#FF0000Macro Security

Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice.org -> Security -> Macro Security (Button) -> Set to Medium
note - if you don't want a macro warning to enable macros everytime then set the option to Low. This is not recommended for other spreadsheets though.

=#FF0000Enable VBA Properties

Tools -> Options -> Load/Save -> VBA Properties

Make sure all tick boxes are enabled, especially the one called 'Executable Code' under Excel
