| Slow start tonight, but England have a good second half to end up with a decent-ish win. First hit out, not too bad, bring on the Aussies and Kiwis.
I bet Richie Myler has a thick head in the morning

| Went tonight, can't play like that first half against the ozzies or kiwi's will just get smashed.. Not impressed with Tony Smith tonight.. Maguire has never seen stand off let alone international stage, yet we have one of our brightest and upcoming stand off stars on the bench for 60 minutes and he brings him on for a full back!!

EH ? His record speaks for its self i think ?
The question i would have to ask is "would you dare play 2 inexperienced half backs in Eastmond and Myler against the Aussies and Kiwis" ?

| Smith doesn't have a clue. A great club manager but way out of his depth at international level. Earleir in the year he came out and said that he was building a team for the future, yet plays RU-bound Lee Smith?

Got to admit that i find that a bit strange. However when you are up against the Aussies and Kiwis playing your strongest team is always a good idea.

His club record speaks for itself but his international record is not that good.. Many of his tries come from the back of a break and backing up..
I would give Eastmond and Myler a go.. They are the future along with Tomkins.. Suppose thats the difference between mentalities.. Oz and kiwi see talent and play them we see talent and wrap them up...

Sorry i dont agree, we must have one of our yongest ever squad at the moment and i think experience is vital in the half back positions, i am not saying however that they arnt good enough because Eastmond and Myler are outstanding players but can they control a tight game against the best teams in the world ? Maybe not yet.

| And how are they going to get top-class experience if you don't play them exactly? If they're good enough, put them in.

Eaxctly, for far too long we've played people out of position because the other options have been too 'young and inexperienced'.
Never did Folau, Hunt, Vatuvei etc any harm did it?
Was the right decision for Baille to get sent off, even if it was slightly lazy.

I agree with carrots, McGuire has been behind a bullying pack for a couple of years, both he and Burrows don't exactly create any plays, they support the bust, nothing wrong with that, but we need to open up the Aussies & Kiwis and busting their middle won't do it.
