next season starts on the last weekend of january.
bit early for summer rugby in my opinion.

In the League Express, Dewsbury's coach was lamenting the fact that the season started so early. According to the RFL, it's to give players more time off to prepare for the Tri/Four nations at the end of the season, but he rightly points out that the Super Dooper League doesnt kick off till Feb & hardly any players from the championship will be involved in this.

those will be the Infirmary Cup game and the Rail Cup wont they not the actual start of the league season.

can the club or anyone let us know when the fixture list will be released so i can book next years holidays round the home games

says clubs were given fixture list last week so now will be moving dates around and agreeing with other clubs etc before releasing it to the press n fans.

Clubs have not yet received the draft fixture list - this is normally in mid November. We have received the dates of the games and can confirm that the first NRC fixture is on the w/e 31st January 2010.

if we have recieved the dates of next seasons games, could anybody let us know when our free weekends are please? i think we should have 2 free weekends.

We have received the dates of all the rounds to be played but until the actual fixture list is sent round we don't know when we have byes.
