just wondering if anyone knows how many of our 3000 we have sold?

Been down Harveys most of day, trade was very brisk when tills opened at 10am. At last count when I left we had around 700 standing and around 100 seating left. Would be great to sell our allocation and ask the RFL for more.

Lets get them to move it to Wembley

ive got 2 tickets for the north stand that i want to exchange for standing... anybody interested?

You know something thats a good idea tbh. Would give the smaller clubs outside superleague a chance at playing at wembley.

And i think we'd take more than Huddersfield aswell

For those who bought them from harveys can receive student discount towards them still? If possible?

Not bad in 3 days, brilliant in fact, I just hope we do sell out completely to prove the doubters that Halifax are well supported, we just needed a Final and lets hope a win to get the lost fans and some new ones to watch us.
I have said it for ages but what have we had in the last 10 years to celebrate?

Last decent season was 1998 3rd in SL and then we lost in the play offs to Saints!
Our support has been good considering going bust nearly 3 times, the Shay debacle and the move from Thrum Hall, nearly getting relegated twice in 2 seasons (2003 with 1 win then 2004 ouch), the rise of Bradford and now Huddersfield etc....

I doubt they'll sell many more to be honest - i'll be very surprised if they sell the whole allocation. 2,300 is about our average gate and there's still a few people who will take the TV option. This presents a problem and an opportunity for the club. The problem being - still not enough people coming down to watch a succesful team. The opportnuity being - finally knowing that even a GF appearance does not guarantee bums on seats.

I don't know what funds are available to the club but a stronger emphasis will be needed towards a structured marketing policy. It does cost money and it is a long term strategy. The people who work so hard at the club deserve better rewards than gates of 2,300.

I think you will be suprised. There are a number of local rugby clubs both league and union that are running trips.

I would hope we would send our whole allocation. For example there are usually 3 of us go but we have doubled up to 6. Also 2 of my friends who have probably been to about 30% of games are coming as well. I'm sure most people know a few people in the same position.

You have to take into account the amount of people that have bought from the RFL direct. They are sold out from RFL.

There'll be many more than our allocation from the RFL that's for sure! We'll sell out too.

there were no seating tickets available at Harveys today, if thats any indication?

They've made a bit of a [istand[/i selling all the seats first

as there are only a few seating tickets left the club took them back to the shop to sell them there

Could do with checking the messages before posting down at the [size=150Shay[/size! Or maybe that's what they really feel about the stadium!
