Firstly, well done on making the final. And I don't wana be seen as having a pop here. However, tonight fax did just enough to beat an average Fev side. The thing I woud like to know is, what went wrong with Fax this season? I don't post on here often so it might of flown over my head.....But when you lot came darn Wheldon in May, you looked class and that wasn't down to us playing too badly at all (plus you gotta bare in mind we should of beaten the 'champs' a week later!)...I'm just confused why Fax have had to scrape into the final?
If you play like you did pre the Challenge Cup game you'll win next sunday. If you play like you did tonight, you won't :\. Would like to see you win for sure.

I agree we havern't bee n top from the last few weeks but i don't think that was the case last night. Fev through a lot at us last night and it was end to end stuff. In the first half we didnt really touch the ball for about 20 minutes at one point and we still went in 18-18 at H-T not that bad really.

We showed class, skill and composure omething we have lacked for a few weeks and it was a semi final with a lot to play for for both teams!

I agree, Ref killed us in the first 30 mins, i think it was 6-0 in penalties to fev at one point. We hung in well, which really takes some doing against a quality team then came back to win. Fantastic !!!

Fev certainly weren't average" last night! I think they put up a good fight.

As for the slump in performance, well I think it may be down to a number of events but no one specific issue.

I think there were a couple of Stag Do's, a babies head wetting session, over confidence due to early outstanding performances and results, contract rumours and other teams enthusiasm to beat the "best team by a Country Mile" (a comment I'm sure Matt will reserve for a more appropriate time - eg. the final whistle of the grand final).

Our drop in form started straight after the Cas game. We played so well and were robbed of a win and everybody knows that. But I recon that was the most disruptive point as I wouldn't be surprised if that were the point where a number of our players were approached by SL clubs. That would surely have some taking the focus off their game with the image of the "Big Time" buzzing around their head.

You weren't robbed of a win against us at all.....A similar pen count, you opted to go for goal numerous times, think it was 7 tries to 5 in our favour. But yeah the coaches comments were fairly naive. But you do have some quality players in your ranks to dominate the Championship next 2 years and make it impossible (you'd have thought) for the rfl to let you back in SL.
