Were is the spirit to win gone,we had no attacking flair on the many oppertunities we had to break the Sheffield line.Who,s told Penky to kick wants their head sorting out.I counted 5 times he directly put it down the fullbacks throat,his passing is shocking and its about time he was addressed before we lose again at Batley.For me we have lost a hell of fire power in the front row,Watene is making the hits but not sticking,he does not break the line and is extremely over rated.Were was Said,Worrincy and why did Ben Black start from the bench.The Faxs support was tops and vocal and Mr Clay needs to address the overall fitness levels and our defence,they have leaked so many soft tries in the last 4 games without the attacking play we started the season with to keep us in the game.Every time we go behind our heads go down and the effort goes through the window.Mark Gleeson and Bob Beswick were our best players tonight,they tackled their hearts out and Beswick was a constant thorn for the Eagles,these two 100% its a pity the rest did not.

Not sure who will be in the final. Play offs are different games. I would have said it all depends where we finish in the play offs and if we get a home draw or not, but we are just as bad at home, at the moment.

Barrow is certainly the favourites at the moment and I wouldn't count out any of the other 5.

Now is not the time to be writing off the team that we SUPPOSEDLY support - now is the time to get them fired up to get a bit of form back for the playoffs. The lads clearly lack some confidence and losing the "support" of their own "fans" is not gonna do much to help

Support in my opinion isn't purely lost through results. I am a sucker for a trier and to see my team give 101% week in week out is all I ask. This team since the Cas game hasn't offerred this in any way shape or form and to be fare hasn't played for a full 80 mins all year and has constantly made silly schoolboy errors all year instead of playing basic percentage rugby. Loyalty is earned and do I want to spend my cash travelling to watch this bunch of heathens with little or no pride in the shirt they wear? . . . . . . . NO I DONT.

No I was at the game Sean, but i didn't see the warm up no because I arrived just as they were going in. I was only suggesting what I imagined had happened no need to get defensive!

The only problem is that Worrency,Black,Tamgart and Penky are all not playing well and their form of late is dreadfull.This kicking game needs sorting out,our defence is cut to pieces on the flanks.I must say that both wingers Patto and Haley have been playing well in attack but their defence and Goddards is shocking.How many times did the big centre catch Goddard out wide with his pace and skills.

PS .I wil tell you what we need and that is a quality 6 who creates ,just like Jamie Rooney is doing for Barrow.Penky is never a 6 in memory of man neither is Beswick,Penkys form is shocking and Bob Beswick is relied on to much in defence,therefore he does not allow him to create because he is simply knacked with his defensive stints.Gleeson is the more creator on the park for Fax,Blacks for and confidence is at rock bottom.We cant afford to have all these quality players out of form all at the same time or we will struggle in our remaining fixtures and play off hopes will dissapear.

I actually thought most players were much improved in attack last night including Black, he broke a few tackles and did what he is good at. It is the defense that is the main issue.

he does play the ball quickly which is good for Penky and Gleeson ill admit that much.
But.... our star forward this year is without doubt Dave Larder, we should keep him at the club in some capacity at all costs, hes a nugget and a half and leads by example on the pitch.

I'm a massive fan of Larder's rugby, we've had the best of his career and he's been a great player in this league for a long time.
