What does everyone think to these two?

I think Maloney is exactly what we need up front, and done well since he joined us. Big and powerful and got age on his side too. Hope we can sign him up for next year.

Been hard to judge Bannister properly because we've lost all three games after bad performances since he joined and I don't feel he is fully fit and settled yet. However, he does look to have some potential and may be a potential replacement for Larder in the furture as he is still quite young. Been at some decent clubs, and with full fitness I think he could do quite well. However, I will reserve my full judgement yet!

jury out on bannister.last 6/7 games of this season wasnt the time to trial people and get their fitness right IMO.
both signed because they've skittled us in the past-says it all about our defence.

I think that they are both good signings - its a shame that they have come into a team low on confidence and Bannister is getting up to 100% match fitness quickly by the looks of things

They both look decent players but experience is a more inportant quality in the forwards than in the backs.

Bannister showed glimpses of class when he was at Widnes. Fitness is the key to him tho'... Get him fit, KEEP HIM FIT more importantly and he is easily one of teh best back rowers in Championship.

Maloney looks the part and will be a good signing for next season.Bannister is average at best and with more clubs under his belt than Tiger Woods in his three games with us has shown that he is well on his way to adding another club where he hasn't fullfilled his potential.

I've been impressed with Bannister, his defence is extremely strong, he just needs to show himself in attack more.

The team need to have more ball possession themselves ,before any of the players can show their attacking ability.

now thats saying something after he has played in the 3 games where our defence has been non existant

Like Maloney but his attack is better than his defence (like on Sunday ouch)
Not really noticed Bannister so that does not say much.

Maloney is good, think I would pick Matt James over him though next season given the choice. If we get both players for 2010 that would be awesome.

I think We've badly missed James and this is one of the reasons behind slip in form.

Bannister clealry still not fully fit so unfair to make judgement.

Who can tell, i think we need a mobile tank up front, Frank only managed half a dozen drives and Wilsons always out.

Maloney should do ok, maybe another secoond row/centre is a bit Bradford 10 years ago.
Hope they go well though.

Think James would do a great job in the second row.

think you may find a deal has already been struck with Dom and he's with us for 2 years.

If I could put together a set of first choice props for next year it would be Maloney & James.

I just wonder if we can get these guys long term. I think we may struggle because I think they could both do a job somewhere in SL with the right breaks.
