Help I am trying to locate 2 tickets to support the boys on Sat.Sun in Blackpool, how do I obtain tickets ?

they are not available through shop, do I just contact the club direct ?

We bought ours from the club and we have 2 tickets to cover the 9s Sat/Sun. However if they reach the final you get a free upgrade at the ticket office at Bloomfield Rd,I rang the RFL today to ask about upgrades for the Bloomfield rd if your team did not reach the final she said it was £5 but they could not gaurantee places for all.So we ended up paying for upgrades over the phone to the RFL.It is a very complicated set up but as they are almost sold out it has been attractive to fans.It would have been easier to have the 9s final at Fylde as well instead of swoping venues but I suppose they are trying to sell the champion 1 final as well. Where is everone staying?

If the club gets to the Final, what transport is there between Fylde and Bloomfield Road?

The final is on Sunday at Bloomfield Road. No qualifying games on Sunday. So no need to go to Fylde.

I think there ARE games on the Sunday at Flyde. So fans will need to get between the 2 venues if they want to see the finals.

Could be right. Just looked at the RFL hand out. Games on Sunday Ko at 10.30. Ticket office opens at Bloomfield rd. at 12.00,for exchangeing tickets, on a first come first served basis.

What a b****y farce! Only the RFL could come up with that system.

It is a farce , when I bought my tickets some time since we were told you got free upgrades with the 9s tickets if your team got to the final at Bloomfield Rd but if they were not in the final you paid £5 to upgrade.
Upon hearing it was almost full I rang the RFL yesterday for clarification on the availibility of upgraded of tickets if your team was not in the final.To begin with she told me we could only upgrade if there was availibility even if we got through to the final as they were nearly sold out. So I said "hang on you are telling people they will have free upgrade with these tickets if their team gets to the final so you`d better be saving tickets" She confered with someone else and said "yes your right but we are only saving tickets for the teams in final. All others it`s if there is availibility so to be sure of seats at the final I have had to book them on the phone with the RFL they arrived in the post today.
So if we get to the final I have wasted money on tickets , they should have done the 9s all at Fylde on one day and the other finals the day after. But as usual everything has to be as complicated as possible for anyone to attend.You see the ticket office opens at 12 pm sun at Broomfield rd and the 9s are playing Sun morning at Fylde can see it being a right farce.

Yes but , let's face it, the one and only reason for this pointless 9's competition is to artificially boost the attendance at Bloomfield Road for the final.



That's not to say Widnes, Barrow or whoever else had got there wouldn't have sold it out anyway but this way guarantees it. It could even mean that some of the supporters of the NRC finalists won't be able to get tickets.

Well I did realise this, my point is it is making it so dificult geting tickets plus the swoping of venues it`s like your having to jump over hurdles one by one just to go and support your team in whatever way at Blackpool.

I`ll make sure our players know it`s there fault then.

The whole thing is a complete waste of time especially with the france trip the week after.

Do your tickets actually say Halifax/Batley et al on them ?

If they dont what's to stop fans of other clubs claiming to be supporters of a finalist and getting tickets that you want/need

The matches on Sunday will be knock out so the first teams knocked out could nip over to Bloomfield rd and nick tickets earmarked for other clubs fans

I can see a dozen or so potentially very unhappy fans on Sunday

Yes each team have their own tickets.

Just to confirm - only the finals of the Trophy and Plate will be at Blackpool.

The rest of the KO stages are all at Fylde on Sunday, starting 10.30

i dont think they have sold as many tickets as they wanted to as you can now pay on the gate on saturday

Who`se staying overnight and where is everybody staying and going on the Saturday night?
