Surely a club with SL aspirations should be able arrange things a bit better than what appears to be the case for Sunday's match.

Firstly, Widnes have asked for tickets to be sent to avoid congestion at the turnstyles. Apparantly Halifax have ignored these request so you have the prospect of 1,000+ Widnes fans all queing up around about the same time to pay to get in.

Secondly, Halifax are aware that 12-15 coaches will be coming from Widnes and the club have asked for confirmation of where best to park. As far as we are aware Halifax are yet to confirm this information.

Doesn't say much for the off the pitch set up does it?

Shouldnt you be taking this up with the club if your so concerned?

I remember not so long ago having to queue up at the Hobart Stadium in the reception area to buy a ticket to get into the game. ONE person was selling these!

Well the Taxi full they bring for the league fixture shouldnt affect anything from our end so no need for communication.

Why not put the coaches in the B&M car park if they will agree (for a small fee I am sure they will), after letting the let fans off by the Shay Hotel.

As for paying at the gate... im sure we have 4 or 5 turnsyles for the North Stand, should be plenty for you all, provided you turn up early & not at 2:50!

Dont worry - you will all get in - there will be more than enough gates open - so we didnt give you any tickets to sell - big deal!

And as for the coaches - Are you driving one? If not why are you d?

Yer that was a right mess up Widnes, one desk for Away fans and we DID bring lots that game.
It took us 10 minutes to get a ticket just to go and queue again to get in!

Hey they won't even get to the Shay as last time one of their coaches broke down at Ainley Top, blocked the whole slip road coming off the M62 the silly sod, nearly made us late as we were coming from the North West that night.

I don't recall Halifax ever bringing more than a couple of hundred to the Stobart. We're looking at bringing over 1,000 fans here, so it's totally different situation.

I can't see why Halifax couldn't have sent a batch of tickets to Widnes. Widnes will provide tickets to other clubs, if requested, so if you had to queue up to buy a ticket at the Stobart it will be because you didn't order a ticket sent out to your club, or the tickets were not deemed as necessary by your club. Both scenarios are a lack of organisation from your side.

Yer you need the Size 8 blue or yellow ones they get loads in, especially from fans of other clubs

It's all about being Professional and taking responsibility, remember the customer is always number one and for this game we are the customers buying in to the product. In future Widnes Vikings may have to consider taking it's money elsewhere if the 'communication' and 'attitude' of Halifax RLFC doesnt improve.

Er what about the Play Off game?
We brought a few hundred to the league game last year which is the one I am on about, either way the ticket system was naff, 2 people serving for the home end which was quiet as you lot already had ticktes mostly yet only 1 person for us.
