| I was thinking about this last night funnily enough. Well, more about the bottom end. Long way to go yet and time yet for anybody to turn it around (or start to suck). I think you're prediction given current form is spot on. Widnes might be scraping wins but 'a win's a win'.

| Small prediction
1 Halifax
2 Barrow
3 Widnes
4 Featherstone
5 Toulouse
6 Whitehaven
I predict Halifax to be over 50 points, and Barrow to be 5 points above the rest. I expect the ranks 3 to 5 to be very close and one match could decide it either way.
Whitehaven follow without much chances to do better than 6 and Leigh will not be close from the 6th spot.

| I can't see Whitehaven featuring in the top six. Everybody knows how bad they travel and now they aren't having such a good time at home.
Whitehaven are actually one of my favourite teams to visit, despite the number of times we've been robbed up there, but I just can't see it this year.

I can see your point, but, they are prone to coming good later in the season. I hope you're right though!

| Both of the last points very true. 'Haven always seem to have decent playoff run so they only need to scrape the top 6. I'm still undecided about Toulouse, OK they've hit a bit of a purple patch they've still to play anyone good away from home. Plus as the season goes on coaches have a better idea of how they play at home. I'm not sure their 'invicibility will last there (bar the searing heat of summer!).

Think 2 Loos are a real danger and if wasn't for the ridiculous bonus point system Eagles would be well adrift at the bottom

Toulouse will show its real potential when playing Barrow at home the 16th of May. If they win convincingly against Barrow then they will demonstrate that they are a real contender for the third spot (which I hope they are )
I expect Featherstone to lose some points in the next 6 weeks with a heavy schedule of 8 games (I assume they will win against Oldham and will play the semi of the Cup around the 20th of June).
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Featherstone_Rovers_2009
The Leigh game the 28 of May could be treacherous for them in particular.
If Widnes does not lose any of its two next matches against Haven and Leigh away, they are most likely to make the third spot except if Toulouse is able to get a result away against a top team: Fax/Barrow/Featherstone
