Half time score hunslet 4 Halifax 20. Poor start to the half but got sparked into life by their try. Not looked back since. Defence on whole been ok, dropping a lot of ball in attack.

Moore has just come on and scored an interception try. Not bad!

Defense was good today. Really making an impact when the opposition has the ball - looked rusty in attack on a small pitch. Good result.

Lots of wayward passing in the first half with ball to ground. Pitch was very heavy and players were losing their footing a lot. It'll be nice to see fax play on a firm pitch. Hunslet went well until we made a break and they held on too long in the tackle and had a player binned for the offence. We scored from that and never really looked back.

Looked comfortable once we got a score on the board.

Good to get a game under their belts and can now move on from it. Could tell that they had not got much training done recently and the passing and movement were a bit rusty. Defence was solid throughout the game and the signs were there for a good season ahead.

The PNG's looked really strong for Hunslet, Charlie Wabo and Michael Mark stood out for them and should make an impact in their league.
