I'd definitely have him back. For the inconsistancy he did show he was still a genuine matchwinner and could pull anything out of the bag to score. Very similar to Danny McGuire in a way. I think with decent coaching and decent players around him he would be brilliant for us, especially with 7 like Watson to take care of all the tactical kicking and organisation to leave him to test the defence time after time.

Much as I'd love to see Black back... we have Trinder now... so its just not gonna happen!

It would be interesting if we had both seen as they are best buddies. Both fighting for the same place week in week out.

thought you guys would like to know that ben black turned out for the bears again last night. think they played aspley in the curtain raiser to the titans broncos game at suncorp. black scored the bears opening try, a solo effort from 10 metres and had a hand in the second and final try. also of interest adrian vowles, he of cas fame who i think is ceo came out of retirement to play due to 5 back row injuries!

Ahhhhhh yes. Ben Black. The club's standoff in the season we were 10 minutes away from relegation to NL2. Great step in the right direction
