Wow! Part-timers beating Sheffield Eagles by a bigger margin than high-spending,full-time,Leigh Centurions managed to do in either of their 2 games this year.

London Broncos defeated us by much larger scorelines in 2 of the 3 games against us this year.

I hope both Eagles and Broncos manage wins this weekend.

Look what happened to 37-0....

In our last game against Sheffield they were by far the worst team that we have played this season. Given how shocking we have been for the best part of the last 3 games and Sheffield hitting a little bit of form I would expect us to win by about 10 or so.

I am going for a Fax win i suspect it will be close as our confidence is down so predict 19 - 18 to Fax

(The last game I missed was an infirmary cup game about 8 years ago) I just find it impossible to persuade friends & colleagues and their kids down the Shay for the value and product on offer. However, have a read of the Huddersfield Examiner, and take a look at HTFC's superb marketing for the first game of the season against a suburb of London. They're expecting 18000.

If I was the average Joe, it's a no brainer where to take the family if I wish to attend a sporting event within driving distance or day ticket.

Managed to battle my way through South Yorkshire's entire population to get into their packed out "stadium" a couple of times recently, as well as their home game against us.

They're a lot better than their league position suggests, whereas on the evidence I saw three weeks ago, you're a lot worse than your position suggests. Might be a painful afternoon for Halifax.

We could've won both those games against Leigh with a bit of luck. They were both level going into the last five minutes or so and penalty decisions went against us. From what I've seen of them, they're not as good as they were last year, though I accept they've had a few players out.

Im not dining out on a close loss to Leigh though.
