Where was the fans for the Hyde game? Only 1037 could be bothered. Or Woking 1033 or Salisbury 1003. Thats why I say bandwagoners.
Why do people seem to think that they have the right to say to others, that they should be supporting their local team and if not its a poor do? I have no time for Soccer with its diving, softness and prima donnas. Its a sport thats overhyped and frankly as boring as hell. I couldnt care less about Halifax Town or any other club. I have little time for a number of fans that follow them that have been quite happy to cause problems for Fax at any given time. There are people who couldnt give a toss about Town/Fax. We dont need people going on guilt trips. If you want to follow both teams good. But a number of us dont and frankly couldnt give a toss if Halifax Town/Fax play in the Top League or in the local leagues.

Tough game to win, and not pretty football, but it is playoff time. Well done to Town, and a real cool finish for the winning penalty!

Well done to Town last night, watched it on the TV and got to say it was an awful standard, never seen so much hit and hope football. I wish them all the best though, good luck on Sunday!

* No one has told you to support Halifax town and no one quite frankly cares if you dont.

* No one has asked you to like football, as it's the biggest game in the world, whether you like it or not.

* The "Other people who couldn't give a toss about town" have kept there opinions to they're self and not spent time going on the Halifax Town website to research the exact attendance to prove a point you made earlier, which was proved incorrect.

* No guilt trip intended, you have your own opinion and so do I, mate.

On a more positive note, last night was brilliant. 1-0 against a brilliant opposition. Not much beats a Shay when it's rocking, regardless of the event. Brilliant gate (3,500 ish) and a great atmosphere. STID!

It's a funny old game.

Lee Gregory, and he won't be with Town next season either. The hottest property in the conference, but he didn't have any real chances to do anything today. A real shame because Town went into the playoffs on form against a side that has struggled to maintain their own. Out-maneuvered tactically over the two legs... sounds familiar...!!!

Town have done brilliant this season come on nobody expected them to get into the play offs and beat all the top clubs at least once losing only 1 home game all season, well done.

Agreed, they have surpassed all expectations and it is a shame for the fans and the whole town that they did n't reach Wembley as I'm sure it would have been a boost for all sport in Halifax.

Aspin bottled it by only playing one up front and setting them up for 0-0. Massive chance missed for a trip to Wembley.
