Touch judges are useless. They can't even tell when a conversion is over these days! Dodgy decision leading to Gregson's try, but not completing the tackle on him after he'd gone down was poor.

I said that at the time. It was offside(accidental) but to not finish the tackle cost us.

Watched the clip a few times now, we definitely got lucky with Gregson's 2nd try. The ball did ricochet off a Leigh player, before Crookes picked the ball up. Accidental offside, scrum to Fax...

But what we won't know without watching a replay of the whole game, is how many mistakes a referee makes that do not affect the result, because the subsequent set of tackles has been successfully defended. Am sure Richard Marshall will be as much if not more disappointed with the fact the defenders couldn't complete the tackle on Gregson as he was with the initial decision.

First try is obstruction as well.

Not at all, I still think the ref had a very good game overall. The short kick off try is really the TJ job of spotting that and he got that badly wrong, the other two in the heat of the moment I can understand why they were not pulled up. If they had a video ref all 3 would have been chalked off. Ref's are going to get things wrong but unfortunately in this instance they were game changers in much the same way Salty had a nightmare moment with a daft offload but was still probably the Fax MOM.
