No, I am saying you are obsessed for some reason with this wrong/right and us/them thing and you see Halifax as some kind of 'enemy'.
Let it go, like I say this is not tit for tat and is not a war, just respect that for a lot of Fax fans the wounds are very deep and I don't think we can ever get over Dave Singer getting attacked, although he has managed to forgive bless him.

Fev were pathetic today - and that'staking nothing away from an excellent 'Fax perfomance, but what should have been a nail biter turned into a disappointing procession. Who can explain such a performance after the way we played against the Pies? Whyd didn't Divorty (and Handforth for that matter) play like that for us?

I'll just jump on board and say I really enjoyed my visit today, we had a quick chat with some Fev fans before and after the game and there was a decent atmosphere around. While I really don't blame our fans for staying away, I'd urge them to go to our next visit to the Big Fellas.

Im not sure things are better off-field. I certainly didnt enjoy being sent around the back and being sat in the corner like a naughty schoolboy. I didnt enjoy the view that I had and I think that the club could have given us a larger block in the seats so we could sit nearer the centre.

Well done Fax it was great to listen to and obviously I missed a great game, hope there will be a DVD of the match. Good to hear there was no trouble, but are fans always going to be segregated. Yes there are intimidating grounds in the RL and I have been to them all, but have never been caught up in fighting, which is very unnerving.

Was funny listening to Radio Leeds on the way back basically laying the blame totally at Fevs CC games totally forgetting to mention once that while yes those games would have taken lots out of them and they were obviously bashed up they also had a couple of days extra rest and we had a mentally draining golden point loss against Leigh. KH interview was fun as well when the commentator said you must have expected Fev to come at you strong and he replied they did come at us strong.

Hopefully this result will shut a few of the doubters up and maybe they will realise this is a brilliant tough league where anyone can beat anyone, we wont get it our own way but we will be there or there abouts come the end of the season. As for the people saying our halfbacks are crap, have some of that because they ripped the best team in the league apart. One trick pony and his partner no talent my . We just need to up it again for next weeks top of the table clash.

For comparison, anyone know how we got on the couple of weeks after our CC games v cas and bulls??

We were beaten fairly comfortably by Sheffield after the Cas game, I remember that game as Gibbo came back to haunt us!

Can't be sure about the Bulls game, but... I do think we won the following game.

Wasn't the Cas game the first of a 6/7 match losing streak, was that time when the wheels well and truly dropped off the wagon

I'm not completely sold on handforth, we all know thackerays ability in open play but when penky is as good as he was in the first 20 its easy as a half back, you just let him get on with it

i thought that was the case. That is exactly why we shouldnt read too much into this result. Sadly for Fev, i think they will take a good few weeks to recover and get back on track, just glad we were the first team to take advantage.

Handforth is a class act when he plays to his ability, after seeing year after year the problems he caused for us it would be stupid to disregard his ability. However, I have been concerned about his recent effort and desire, he does seem fairly 'half-d' and I think missing the kick to touch again yesterday highlighted that. He just looks to be getting through the games, and not taking the lead like he did at Batley. I still think we should bring Bowman in, he creates and he would hopefully create a bit of competition between the half-backs.

Handforth is a morngy little sh........... who has his one game in four - and yesterday wasn't even that one game. Not my fav half back by any means, but as I've said so many times, our friends at Batley have an entirely different view.
Briggsy had a bloody nightmare yesterday - he played on injections - no excuse, if he wasn't fit he shouldn't be on the park.
Handforth kicked better than Lian and just distributed the ball efficiently enough. The runners who repeatedly bust our line did the damage - and the fact that we couldn't hold onto the ball or chuck the obligatory interception into Worrincies hands!!
Liam would kick off, Thacko caught it, handed it to Robbo who would be stopped on the ten. At any point in the game yesterday I wasn't confident that from the first tackle on the fax 10, we woundn't be defending our own line by the end of the set!!!
Then of course was the fax defence yesterday - essentially excellent from the point Micky H went over.
Bad bad day for rovers. Great for fax. Fair play. We move on.

Without getting too involved in the should we shouldn't we go to Fev, I didn't go last season but the decision was taken out of my hands as I was away both times we played there but yesterday I decided to go. And I'm glad I did. Aside from the result, there was a good atmosphere. Fev have taken steps to ensure we can go and have a good day with a good atmosphere. Segregation isn't ideal but this season we have played each other twice and both games have passed without incidents. Steps in the right direction. If this continues we will get to a point where both sets of supporters can mix again. Until then, my opinion is we work with both clubs to keep progressing.

He certainly caused Fev problems, but unfortunately that was when he was playing for us! Calling Robert Hicks a "******* cheat" (even though there was some truth in the accusation) and getting sent off for his pains didn't help matters.

To the Fev supporters that have posted on here can I say well done and thanks for being gracious in defeat. Reading through the comments you have given Fax credit for the performance but not ripped your team to bits which is usually a normal reaction. Excuses haven't been made, you've accepted the result and given how big a game this is for both teams I have a lot of respect for you for it.

You need someone in the team who is going to boss the play, Handforth does that and Bowman wouldnt. He could be heard yesterday shouting to Penky to get back to the gameplan, everyone is calling for the ball, stick to the gameplan. Every team needs that player.

I agree 100% with that. Last time I visited POR was an unpleasant experience and a number of my friends swore that they would never go again. I decided to give it another go and tried to talk my friends into it, to no avail apart from 1.
I have to say that yesterday was a totally different experience and I didn't even feel mildly uncomfortable. I will be passing this viewpoint onto my stayaway mates.

I should mention that the Dave Singer incident has never been a factor with me as major finals always attract band wagon supporters and I can't hold Featherstone Rovers responsible for the actions of some sub-human cowardly scrote who possibly attached himself to the club for the day.
