I agree faxcar, it's a really strong, good quality Championship & much more exciting for it.
FWIW, while we all as fans would love to see our cherished clubs up in Super Dooper League, the entertainment on offer in this comp is not to be dismissed.

At Leigh we have quite a few Wire fans coming to watch when they have no game & the way they talk about games & how much they enjoy coming to them just goes to show that there is very much life & good RL beyond Super League.

Tezza, I think if the BOD thought we could go and sustain full time then we would have done but they obviously believe at this current time we need to build the infrastructure to allow that to happen. Getting in to SL is obviously the end game but not at the cost of the club.

If I remember correctly Richard had the choice this year either to go full time or to have a Reserve side he had no hesitation in choosing a Reserve side his intention I think is to go full time next year .

You remember correctly, from what I also remember, they wanted to set foundations in place for the longer term plan.. And not all the squad could necessarily go full time just like that anyway...

An interesting w/e of Rugby enough said about our performance was looking fwd to a new venue the 102nd where i have watched semi professional/or professional RL but this has to be up there with the worst of them.
Saturday off to the dark side Doncaster Knights v Yorkshire Carnegie not a bad game for yawnion 8 tries Sinfield didnt play.
Sunday Yorks Cup Final at freezing Hunslet, Fryston comfortably beating North Hull 50-10 sadly game marred by a fight in the Stand & afterwards in Players Bar.I have never witnessed such appalling behavior
