I agree 100% with your view of DR, however where I think your wrong is to boycott the game just because there is a DR player presents. I do understand that it's your choice completely, but you have missed some good performances.

I appreciate that and know that we have probably missed the best games and performances of the season. Cutting your nose off to spite your face comes to mind but if summat's not right it's wrong and I won't support it. A problem is when something is so absolutely "wrong" how do you go about objecting to it?

Should not the stance be just as absolute and every game with a team who fields a player in on DR should be boycotted.



Surely not going to just 1 teams games is a boycott just against that 1 teams use of DR and not against DR as a whole:

I guess this subject has drifted to more about Dr than the subject. I think it's fantastic that Connor is here for at least this and next season. Well done to all concerned.

On DR I don't like the concept of it, but at least RM has been in the driver's seat in this and not Hull KR. And he has used them to replace shortages, rather than sitting someone out for them, as other teams have done over the last few years.

DR has been used well(and not very often) by RM. in the process we seem to have gained a young exciting talent in Conner.

Hudds-shay doesn't like it and withdrew his and his wife's support. It's their choice and as such have missed a great season watching Fax and enjoying the new and excitement of our new coach and team. Their loss not ours and sure the club will recover from the loss of their revenue.

It's not the point if we, or others I may add, chose to attend or not whilst we use DR. The point is that DR is wrong for Fax and wrong for the game.

There's no negativity from me. I doubt that the BOD are concerned one jot about my stance. We look like we've got a top four spot. We're playing a great style of attacking rugby. Crowds are slowly on the up, and as one poster on here forecast at the start of the season, we will have our biggest gate of the year next week. I just hope that I am there to cheer the best team anywhere to victory over the bullys. Up The Fax!

Has he? 100%. If he asked and none were available so be it. But I guess not once has Chris Chester said a certain player needs some game time so RM sits someone out to play, as it has happened previously (Lee Briers, Adrian Morley etc). I personally think RM has used DR sensibly and to his advantage.

You do some moaning Hudd ,I bet your a really fun guy at parties ,Fax have done well this season we are not far off the middle 8s , a good team spirit , very good coach ,and YOU moaner in Chief ,stay off the booze ,try Horlicks.

If it wasn't for DR'S we wouldn't have seen Connor Robinson,try an Alcohol based Horlicks or Draught Vinegar to get some sleep, in RM we trust.DRs or no DR'S.

No one on this forum or any Fax supporter has said they are in favour of dual reg, all except one I believe have said if it's there and it works to our advantage then reluctantly use it.
Richard has been very selective in its use.
Look at the situation from Richards and the boards point of view.
In his first stint as a Head Coach he wants to be successful. Success this year is finishing in the top four.
The board want success and are prepared to back up their bold decision to appoint Richard.
We will finish in the top four.
Would we have done this without the small proportion of the use of D/R?
Would we have finished in the top four without Richard?
Who knows?
But an ambitious Head Coach and a board who have tried very hard to appease us fans for our dissatisfaction over the previous three years quite rightly (in my humble opinion) have used whatever is available to them to ensure top four and the riches that will help us in the future.
At the start of the season on the original post about D/R a lot of us argued about it, my last comment was "Dual Reg is here embrace it" quite rightly I got shot down by my friend Marillion Man. I should have said "Dual Reg is here get used to it"
I do not believe at any time have Hull KR said "you have to use this player"
I do not believe that Huddersfield have ever said "you must take this player on loan"
Blinkered as I am I can't see a great deal of difference between D/R and the loan system in the way that Fax have used it.

D/R is not ideal, but it's there, use it.
