Barrow had a money man who like most in Pro rugby wasted money on players instead of investing in the ground and the future. And thats a Rugby League problem with its short term thinking. My view is nothing against Barrow and hope they do well. But equally I want ALL clubs to keep improving the grounds as well'"

couldnt agree more mate. The ground will get better facilities but money is tight and it will take time.
Incidentally, when was the last time you went to Whitehavens ground ? It is nowhere near the standard of Craven Park so it will be interesting to hear your comments about that ground when you visit. |

Probably not a lot in it really. Cracking view from the Kells End but you have to do a lap of the ground if nature calls when stood at the scoreboard end. |

You just do what we did at Wilderspool in 2002, when 5000 of us ploughed into the away end in the CC quarter final.
Just flop it out and let it 'gush' on the terracing !  |

It's a fantastic place to watch rugby on a warm sunny day, but a different story when it's cold and wet, or cold and dark and the lights go out after 10 minutes!!! |
