I must admit that the predicted away support from Widnes for this sunday is very commendable, and it will make for a fantastic atmosphere.

Now, I am not the brightest bloke on the planet, but I struggle to see what difference the issuing of tickets to Widnes prior to them travelling across will make.
They will still have to enter the ground through a turnstyle, granted handing over a ticket is slightly quicker than a 20 pound note and waiting for change but how much difference will it really make?

The parking of the coaches is a totally seperate issue which hardly warrants a press release from the Widnes club. Clutching at straws in an attempt to increase the hype and tension prior to the game. I thought that was the sort of things that people did on the fans forums, not professional rugby league clubs.

i hope nobody from the club tells them anything rinning up to match day and get them to change in the new changing rooms (unfinished) in the new stand

Typical scousers feeling hard done by, they probably only want tickets so they can make forgeries.

I hope to god none of them were to get arrested, there'd be the whole town coming out setting up Protest Groups on Facebook and producing Tee Shirts ect. And Gerry and the Pacemakers or somee crappy scouse act would be releasing another song.

At the end of the day, I don't think 15 coaches have been brought to Halifax by any club (football or rugby) for many years. And its not upto Halifax to provide parking for the coaches. It's going to be chaos dropping off and picking up that many fans onto that many coaches on the streets around the ground as there's no real easy place to park coaches and load them up. If they're parked (on the double yellows) on Shay Syke that'll delay cars getting out of the Hunger Hill Car Park, And its very unlikely they'd be allowed to park along Skircoat Road after the game. so where they're going to go is beyond me

widnes wanted the tickets so they get the cash for a spilt cup game safely in their pockets before we have chance to turn round and say only 2000 turned up to pay. i wonder why they would think that/. maybe past exercises by the widnes club?
i dont think we would have revenge in mind from when they never payed us our half gate for the playoff game at halton would they??

Your right, it is a surprise. I thought Widnes was in Cheshire and before that Lancashire? I'll be on the phone in the morning to my son's school to let them know we've moved counties again. I don't know, local government's - who needs 'em!!

Tykes are notoriously thick and unable to read maps. Everybody knows that.

We only have the Widnes club's word that they have asked for tickets to sell, and that they have enquired where they can park the charabancs. Who is to say that this is not just misdirection in order to discredit HRLFC and to create some hype?

Well, I don't know about that but I will let you know on Monday if they have given me the correct change after I hand over my £20 note at the turnstyle. But since they were getting 6000 plus crowds when they were in Super League it shouldn't be a problem should it. I fully expect everything will be run smoothly.

Not Fax problem where to park the coaches nor why should Fax have tickets which would be a waste of money when there is no need? Its not all ticket game so Widnes can go and jump. Widnes should be more concerned over the players fighting and being a disgrace than trying to belittle another club over something and nothing.

Here's tip for you. Take an adjustable spanner with you, just in case they try to give you your change in 50p coins.

And since we are going to be playing against each other for the next two year's at least, I should think that Halifax RLFC would want a large away following from Widnes to return to the Shay again to boost their attendance figures in their quest for a licence. You wouldn't want us to have a very bad experience (apart from the result of course, from your point of view) and not return?

To be honest could not give a fig how many Widnes bring now or in the future. I will be shocked if Fax get anywhere near SL in 2012 as the RFL will look to bend the rules to make things fit as they want. If Widnes did not know that by now shows how dumb they are!
