At the start of the season I'd have expected our defence to outshine our attack.

Looked a little soft around the goal line and we need to fix that. Shame for whitey if he misses out but feel our bench must have three big boys to bring on. Fev have a clearly strong team who are hard to keep knocking over so bring on the muscle but start with our fittest, possibly strongest two props to match them early

I would go with White and Rob on the wings because they are very unpredictable and are faster than what Fev have and I do feel Fev are scared more of them two running the ball than Reittie. I also think we need to change things a bit and maybe get penky passing longer out to Handforth etcand then get the forwards like Barlow running from out wider rather than receiving the ball straight from Penky as they will move up quick especially around the ruck. Maybe worth using a short kick through as well if Fev move up very quickly and get Fev a bit unsure what we will do. I do feel we need to try something different in attack from last time as we had no time and space and was predictable. Just hope our defence decides to turn up for the full 80 or else we could get spanked!

How ever much I love watching Aizue, i would change him for Reitte. You always moan haighy at a bench full of forwards. Reitte gives us an option if anything happens to our 3 quarter line or fieldhouse and whitey needs to drop back.

A team that has Aizue in it gives me more trepidation than one with Rettie in it instead of Aizue.

Is that because you are worried he will try and break another Fev player - maybe Finn or Kain?

He gives fax that 10-15 mins burst of aggression that can get your forrads on a roll. He's done it too oft for my liking. Reitte I reckon we can 'look after'. Managing Aizue has been difficult in the past. He's one I wouldn't moan about being omitted.
At your gaff, when I saw White was left out for Reitte, I felt much more confident.

I'm sure Reitte has his fans and maybe I haven't seen enough of him to making a wholly informed judgement. But if he's in at Aizue's expense, I'll live with that.

Aizue played well vs Hunslet. i think he will be in the 17.

Im guessing Rettie will play instead of White and although Aizue is capable of making an impact with the ball he is also a liability in defence and possibly one we cant afford against Fev. Im not sure what options we have though as I wouldnt have Bowman on the bench either because it seems like a wasted spot because he will never have an impact coming off the bench and isnt good enough to start.

I'm not traditionally a fan of a bench full of Forwards however I have my reasons. Bowman has been great this year coming off the bench whether it has been at half-back, Loose or Centre, he has done a great job and he will do another one tomorrow.

The rest of the bench is forward heavy for the simple reason that it is against Fev and their forwards are so brutally physical we need more forwards. Aizue had a great game against Hunslet and his presence and gusto brings on the rest of the team if we are behind on momentum at all.

Reittie in my opinion still needs some making up to do for his stupidity at Batley when he headbutted. White had a fantastic game at Hunslet and does not deserve to be dropped.

Luke Ambler may not be fully fit yet and a bit of gamble so it will be a forward orientated bench.
