It amazes me how much golf there is on satallite channels. At any one time, if you flick through the sports channels i guarantee there will be a golf classic on from some exotic location with fook all people watching it. It must be something people put on in the background to make them look windswept and interesting.

I've been on Premier Sports for a couple of months now and can't wait for the NRL and Championship coverage to start. In the meantime I am really getting into sports I've never really watched before like Ice Hockey, Gaellic Football, NASCAR and will be having a look at MASCAR when it starts.

I kicked out SKY altogether after about 20 years and am not missing it in the least.

i have dumped sky sports telling them the reason is that no championship rl on it. then taken out the subscription of premier sports.

Looking at the subscriber's form on Premier TV and there is a box for a promo code. Do we have one to enter?

Hoping to get premier Sports channel in the next few days, have Sky already, noticed on premier web page it says if you have "Multi Room" you have to contact an 0871 number. Anybody booked Premier Sports channel with "Multi Room" via the website - just that I dont want to pay for 0871?

Premier Sports’ coverage of this year’s Championship is set to experiment with innovative broadcasting features, according to the RFL’s Ralph Rimmer.

Rimmer was speaking at the Championship launch day, and was obviously excited to see television coverage of the Championship provide a unique experience for the viewer.

He said: “They have a really good line up of talent to present the competition, and we’re looking to do really new and innovate things with how this competition is broadcast.

“Some of the innovations we’re looking at are half time coverage of what goes on in the changing room, maybe there will be a bit of a delay on that!”

Rimmer also confirmed that the video referee will talk through his decisions in real time, which should prove popular with the humorous Ian Smith in the hot seat.

Rimmer continued: “Finally were looking at the possibility of conversations with the coaches half way through the second half, that could provide some great television in itself.”

The Premier Sports’ commentary team will consist of the popular broadcaster, Dave Woods. He will be joined by Brian Noble and Ian Ramsdale.

Finally no Widnes fan club! I think the camera in the changing rooms will go down like a led balloon.

Bloody marvelous

Just took out my annual subscription. Needed multiroom so had to phone up. Usual call centre farce, put on hold to run the phonebill up, operator then suffers with number dyslexia and had to go through card details several times. Then given total cost for year and payment taken. Put on hold and transferred to customer services who then told me the initial operator couldn't do multiroom and had to go through it again.
Eventually sorted after 25 minutes but near instant activation.
My tip, use the online subscription if at all possible. It's got to be much less painful.
