Well they all are better than what we have currently! Either the players are not listening to Calland or Calland cant coach. 3 games we have conceded over 40 points. Now for me Matt has had his chance and its time for fresh ideas and somebody that the players respect and can sort out the lack of discipline and sort the confidence out.

I have a bit of a bee in my bonnet about Aizue which I get critisised for. On Sunday he was sat on the bench slumped on his seat with a no neck don't give a attitude. he has been injured and is getting back up to speed but we need him now. It is these big name signings that need to step forward and kick start the team and get their confidence up and playing like we know they can.
The main bulk of the team is the same as last season and we could do it then, so why not now.
The fans are still eager for their team to be successful and know they have the ability to be, but the season is slipping away and something needs sorting soon.

....because your game plan is one dimensional. Last season it took the league 3 months to work you out. You will get hammered up the middle every week from now on. Your pack is ageing and slow with no creativity. Gleeson and Penky are told to get the ball to the wide men as quickly as possible with no plan "B" If the opposition structure is designed to negate this then you are screwed because your pack is so poor and can not dominate.


By the way, why is all the blame laid at Callands door? This team is very reminiscent of teams produced by Martin Hall at Hull KR and Rochdale. May be he has more influence over team affairs than you all think. He is always by the side of Calland at games.

I completely agree with you on that. The worrying thing is that we can all see it. Well, all apart from the people that matter.

Agree about Calland..... STOP LAYING ALL THE BLAME ON HIM......time for the players to take a good look at themselfs and be honest that A, the pack is not performing and being to easily dominated, B - you have key players injured at the mo, C - a coach does video work and devizes a plan to beat the oposition and expects his team to stick to the plan (are they doing this).
Get behind the coach and the club as calling for peoples heads doesnt help matters............ Leigh went through it last season and it doesnt help anyone.

So getting Millward hasn't helped matters?

Millward has helped but our players will be the first to admit that their efforts last season were not up to scratch and it wasnt all the coaches fault. (a few have told me this)

The good thing at Leigh at the mo is that most of the squad are out of contract at the end of this season............. they don't preform to Millwards expectations they wont be here next season.......... that will drive them to succeed (or at least try)

I wasn't expecting that loss for you guys, and Millward is worth 12 points a game.
The impact he has on average players is immense, for the last few years we have wasted our resources, not any more.
