Most if not all of us respect the clubs with proud heritages and I for one would like to see these once great clubs return to glory.

Joking apart I will welcome our games against Bradford, the biggest crowd since the World Cup game, in my humble opinion and I hope after their visit Bulls fans will agree, the Shay is a magnificent Stadium which looks even better with a big crowd.
Bulls fans check out the match day hospitality package, easily the best in the Championship and better than quite a few SL clubs.
The view from the East Stand restaurant and bar is a delight.

I was very lucky to be guests of the sponsors a few times when the weavers was open (is it still there?). Loved it. I was last there when the fire alarm went off and we all had a sunbathe on the pitch.

I'm sure a good number of bulls 'fans' will know the situation involving the local pub scene. That is, of course, assuming they haven't suddenly become giants.

That does remind me of when the Bulls were away and I decided to go to watch Fax for a change. Shouldn't have wore my bulls coat as I got called a traitor on two separate occasions, presumably on the basis that some think we all ACTUALLY live in Halifax?

'Most'? well I'm glad we got that one cleared up.

There are some awful images to be seen these days. The situation in West Africa, Oscar Pistorious' crocodile tears, Gary Glitter boarding a plane to Thailand. But there's nowt more nauseating than seeing someone who used to wear the colours of his hometown 'lesser' club walking proudly around in his new bulls shirt. It's just pitiful.

I'm not from your fine town so really wouldn't know how many Bulls shirts you see these days in fax. I bet it was a fair few when we were good and I can see why that would pee you off.

Still got to question anyone who thinks most Bulls fans are from fax obviously as that's clearly daft.

To be fair, I would doubt that there are many current Bulls fans from Halifax. I think they maybe picked up about a thousand in their Glory Days but as they are now back down to the hard core I would suggest that they are now mainly from Bradford.
Apart from my mate at work who is a lifelong Bulls supporter and lives at Southowram but he claims that he was born and bred in Bradford and I can't imagine anyone saying that were it not true! lol

Yes I'm in East Leeds these days which was pretty beautiful during that blip when we were fantastic, but not quite as great before or after.

Funnily enough I watched that famous/infamous bradford come back at thrum hall at a pub on the edge of halton moor (east leeds council estate if you don't know it) I went a bit bazerk and the landlord told us to leave. More for our safety I think.

You can see now why I thought it was funny being called a traitor when wearing bulls branded stuff in fax. East leeds isn't really your core area. Mind you as I'm from bramley, live in East leeds I lose track of whom I'm a traitor to. Could be anyone.

Bramley perhaps? It's funny how folk who choose to 'support' a team other than their own local club always pick a big club. It's never a Batley or Rochdale is it?

I think I'm quickly realising your a bit of a grump. Bramley are an amateur team and I left the place when I was 5. If you think I'm duty bound to attend a playing field in Stanningley you're a bit bonkers. Arriving in east leeds believe me school life would have been nicer if I'd watched leeds but instead we opted for relegation threatened bradford.

My conscience is totally clear.

It's a shame you didn't make it as far as Thrum Hall that day lad, you could have gone as beserk as you like and stayed to watch the game to the FT hooter instead of getting chucked out of a boozer.

Of course I know East Leeds, Seacroft we used to call it... I used to play for a club called Greetland All-Rounders but we were only an amateur club just like Bramley ( how dare you insult a traditional old club like Bramley, you heathen ), i say only an amateur club. We competed in the challenge cup & national conference in my time there. East Leeds used to play in red & white irregular hoops & had a big fat long haired prop called Les Woodley, an Aussie. He was fair game for having his hair pulled and shins booted in the scrums and all that kind of stuff back in the day, bless him. Get yourself down to Stanningley, Rhino's academy lads play there, you might learn something.

This Fax vs Bradford thing might have some decent mileage in it if you keep dropping in here to entertain us.
