Halifax are MASSIVE. Next year we should just advertise our next fixture as Halifax RLFC vs Another sh*te village team.

Apart from say a dozen or so posters on here who have looked at the coach and the team that is being assembled and anticipating being very competative, how is that being arrogant?

Who else from the much larger Fax support who never come on here have you spoken to if any and of these who have come across as being arrogant?

I don't see the same comments against other clubs like Fev for example who recently at boardroom level, supporters level are publicly saying that they will dominate this league for a good few seasons to come.

If it is not because of being jealous or having a dislike for the club then what is then.

You are clearly showing discrimination and yet blame Halifax for why you are doing it.

Sort yourself out before telling others what they need to change.

Look big can mean having bigger pulling power and support it don't always mean you are the best club on the pitch, look at football and how many 'big clubs' are not in the Premiership like Leeds, the two Sheffield clubs and Forest yet you have clubs like Blackburn, Bolton, Fulham, QPR and Wigan in it.
Bigger clubs should do better than smaller clubs but they don't do always as its what goes on the pitch that counts, well normally anyway even in RL.Its what makes sport worth watching sadly money is taking over and the juggernaughts like Man U in football are taking over.

I can take most of what you say on the chin and accept some is true about the finances but the comment about not being 'gracious' over not getting a SL franchise and our good effort at a PR coup with the Father Christmas and you swallowing the RFL line about our application being poor through their 'bought' auditors KPMG is way off the mark.
What are we supposed to do just accept being stitched up as acceptable behaviour?
Thing is if your club had one of the best levels of support home and away, is pretty succesful on the pitch and has a long and proud history like Halifax what do you feel you should say when compared to others without that - nothing?
Fax are probably now along with Leigh the biggest clubs outside SL closely followed by Fev.

As a fev fan, I have heard nothing of the sort. There is, among the fans chatter about going for the treble, as the fax fans have already mentioned. Most fans beleive this is an aspirational target, not a likely one.

Any quotes about the boardroom comment? I'm struggling to think of the possible personality on our board who would make a comment like this.

The difference is when there is discussion and banter between fev and batley fans, the 'size' of the club is frankly not even worthy of note. We are all rugby league!

I am excited and really looking forward to next season. We won't have our own way all the time but I do expect to win more than we loose (hopefully)
