Unfair ?. why is that ?. they got £30k for coming second. Everyone knew at the begining of the season that £100K was top prize and that they had to win to get it. Whats unfair is the lack of sky money filtering down to the other clubs.

Just keeping everyone up to speed re` the new Faxbuilder Fund , the quiz at the Ivy House will kick off the fundraising , where you can Pledge your support for the under 23s and gather some more information. Anyone who cannot be there just use this message board for the time being for pledging until other forms of communication are organised.Thank you for all your support so far.

The date for the Pledge Night for the new FAXBUILDER fund has now been confirmed as 18th of Nov we want all Fax fans there to pledge to the club.
We should have one or two players as well as ex Fax favourites coming along to add there support. £25,000 is a massive amount but I am convinced we can do it. We will be spreading the word in the Courier etc and there are other things already planned. At the moment we are puting together a reunion of old Fax favourites from the 90s more news on this later
Can you pledge some time to help with FAXBUILDER could you offer an item for a raffle or auction or could the company you work at give a prize?

For all the people asking for the form re` the Fax Trust it is now on the Clubs website, thank you to you all.

Suggested to Malcolm that he puts a jar on counter in shop for change that customers don't want.Have also got small jar at home that am chucking 5p's into.I know these ideas may not make much money but every little helps and if a few people did something similar it would add up

Another idea, gets people involved, how about a sponsored weight loss, sign people up after the new year, weekly/fortnightly weigh ins, measure the total amount of weight lost in "Franks" or similar

Another idea-people pledge to pay an amount for each try/goal that Fax score.Will need to state dates for when money to be in but it would mean some monies coming in during season.First £5 of 5p's in jar

All these are really good ideas and we have pledge forms ready now so we are looking for anyone who would be willing to put their name to organising any of the ideas. Or would anyone be interested in takeing part if it`s either of the two Pledge forms are available now. Anyone interested can call into the South Stand bar on this Wed from 7-30pm or alternativly if you pm me on here I will fill one in for you.But the best thing of all is turn up to the Pledge night where there are a variety of things you can do which enables all Fax fans to take part in the shapeing of their Clubs destiny .
There will be current and ex Fax players coming along on the night to give a hand and guest MC will be ex Fax favourite Jamie Bloem who will be bringing along a few friends.Oli Marns and Johnny Lawless already attending with more names to come plus some cracking lots for the auction. It`s all coming together so get yourself down to the Shay Nov 18th.

Halifax Town are currently doing a thing where they have split the pitch into squares and people pay for a square,they are doing it to pay for medical stuff but could be done just as fund raiser.Town charge extra for goal areas and flood lights.If someone contacted Town am sure they would loan a programme long enough for someone to look at and see what am going on about.Can't make meeting tomorrow,someone at work decided would be good night for overtime,so could someone put pics of shirts on here ASAP please,Santa is waiting for my list!
