Poor performance and Eagles playing well - didnt look interested most of the time - Sheffield scored some great try's.

It was quite simple really, Sheffield played to their potential, chasing the ball making tackles and taking their chances. Halifax did very little right.

The only bright point was Miles getting a hat-trick. When we lost black we looked even worse. Hopefully Gleeson will bring a bit of order back to things because we looked slow and without a clue at times.

Well done Sheffield, they deserved the win. The better side on the day won.

I must say after getting back to 16-16 it looked like we'd go on from there. However for Larder to throw the ball away on our line showed that we weren't prepared to play sensible rugby in bad conditions and we need a bit of thought and order at times.

Hopefully playing Doncaster on Thursday will allow us to quickly get back in order and get some form back.

The best side won! It was like a different Fax side turned up to play, and Sheffield defence looked pretty impressive. I'm sure Thursday will see us return to form!

yep we lost 1 game. doncaster could be on for a backlash on thursday. didnt make much differnce because widnes and barrow both lost widnes have still played 2 games more.

Sorry, my bad wet conditions then. However they aren'y perfec t conditions to play rugby in and if you read the point HALIFAX didn't play rugby to suite it.

If we dont play well in rain it might be a good idea to try sort this out. Rain in the UK is not afamiliar!

sheffield was up for it halifax clearly wasn't , black had a shocker but every one does now and again,

te ref had a shocker the worst we have had this year,

Credit to Sheffield, played an excellent kicking game and looked very entusiastic. This was their big match to get back into contention from their poor start to the season and they needed a win. Aston seems to get his teams up for certain games and this was one of them. A very bad day at the office some players looked as if they'd done a 12 mile run preceeding this match, no spark whatsover. Lets get it out of the way every team will have at least one poor game and now roll on Thurs to put it straight.

Yer it was a tad dissapointing the ref giving the penalty against Penky for 'headhigh' when he missed the man which then lead to their 5th and crucial try but hey think we'd have lost anyway.
