I can only speak for myself on this but I don't regard Sheffield as a little club at all or any other club for that matter.
I respect Eagles for putting a tough competative team on the field year after year with a shoe string budget.

Truthfully I have never heard any Halifax fan say anything derogatory about Sheffield.
We never expect to win and know we could well lose.

Unless you are still counting last years development of u14's, u15's, and u16's (scholarship). If you are indeed running this myriad of teams, as you claim to be, then can you please post links to them. Also, I'd be interested to know who is paying for these teams.

Featherstone a little club ? They average around 1500 a game. You're a country mile in front of them. You had three times that against Batley last season. We're even further behind - struggling along on around 1200. Both of us run five teams - why can't Halifax ?

Click on "Fixtures" and you get the 1st team games (which hasn't been updated since 12th June).

Click on "Academy Teams" and you get the U23's - who appear to have played a grand total of 3 games this season?

No sign of any other teams representing Sheffield................

Just been on there Griff, couldn't find any results. Could you just remind me how your lot did against that other 'small team', Fev, last night.

My lad has been on U/16 scholarship at Bradford Bulls this last season & the Eagles kindly cancelled their home fixture against them because they couldn't find a pitch to play on. The thing is, the fixture was pulled around a month before schedule. A city the size of Sheffield & they can't find a pitch suitable enough to play two junior games on ?????

Why get into arguments with teams in our division. For Gods sake we could'nt find anywhere to play our U23's or train earlier this season in Halifax. Too many short memories on all the forums.

We managed to play 23's @ Old Crocs.

So are the RFL still insisting on minimum wage payments for u 18 s ?

A couple of years back your 18 s were playing in the NYL weren't they ?
