Player recruitment is not a strength of RM and I'm still not a fan of his based on his inability to improve the squad. He has no plans to sign a HB either as he feels Jonno/Murrell are adequate.....

Hall and Caland were the best at getting players in Marshal seems to lack this ability and does not recognize good backs

Fair points and apart from generating some interest, as several have posted if we can afford to we need a couple of quality signings to take the next step.

RM and this side have probably gone as far as they can with the current squad of players without that extra bit of class.

Craven to be fair was someone who has played with murrell and it actually worked ( unlike Gaz Moore) so I could see the sense in Craven . Even the player himself felt that his style suited fax and was annoyed at being recalled. I remember him having an excellent game away at Fev for us. No doubt a few more rumors emerging before and after and possibly some confirmations as to what's going on.
