| Whilst I have to pay per game, as I can't afford an annual ticket, our prices for next season look reasonable when compared to others.
Fax early bird £220-£187
Fax Full Price £250-£195
Leigh £280-£250
Giants £99-£119
Rams £190-£175
Bulls £313-£218
Rhinos £336-£216
I wondered if there is any way that Bulls can justify their prices next year....no wonder their support is falling off! The Giants look desperate !!

Err, it can be justified by saying "Bradford Bulls are a full time team and the cost of the tickets reflects that." Given the fact that your prices aren't too far off the cost of the ground admission price for a Bradford season ticket, and yet your team is part-time, surely the question should be how can Fax justify that?
The Giants have always been desperate for fans, it's a running thing with them that they don't pull in a lot of fans even when things are going well on the pitch. Plus they've got a money guy who can underwrite the cheap tickets so why shouldn't they push to get their crowds up if they can afford it?

I think there has to be a minimum price set if you are to secure funds to compete and I feel our pricing is acceptable.
Highest adult price at Hull KR is £265, and if you wanted to you could have 25% off that under their elevation scheme. Makes Bradford the most expensive in the league, by some way.
London Broncos charge £150 "silver" which is standard package. Their Gold upgrade at£250 gives you a hospitality package, shirt and cup final ticket. Which, if you were one of their fans looks a super deal.

| There were half a dozen clubs in the high court that day, including one that's in Superleague.
Notice how we're the one the BBC reports on?
This is more about the national media not giving a nats frig about Halifax than it is about our VAT bill.
Do Halifax even need to be VAT registered?

No it's not that the others on the list have previous too. One of them was Salford and it was still the Bulls that get reported on.
In terms of the other Greater Manchester clubs I'd list Wigan, Leigh, Salford, Swinton and Oldham as being more report worthy than Halifax. In all honesty. Maybe even Rochdale after their win in France last season.

Got to agree tough as it is and yes I wish we were not in such a bad state and you have to ask how? But at least the Board are managing the situation unlike Bradford who are spending money they blatantly don't have and are always blaming the tax man. They are bringing the game into disrepute and should be punished enough is enough!

| Reading the RFL Insolvency policy, 12 points is the highest points sanction available. The ultimate sanction would be revocation of RFL membership meaning any 'new' Bradford would have to reapply for membership and rejoin in League 1. Chaos could reign especially if they then replace them with Toronto (should be Barrow in theory)

| I must admit, I've never been a fan of the Bulls, BUT I wouldn't want to see any Club go to the wall, maybe it is of their doing but nevertheless it will be such a shame to lose them, they have in any ways been such a positive influence to RL .Also I suppose it can be said similar of my Club Leigh Centurions, who not long ago could have been in a similar situation ,luckily we had Derek B to help us , I sincerely hope the Bulls can sort something out and carry on next season, I'm sure the majority of Fax fans feel the same way.

| From the outside it could appear the Bulls have been playing the system for a few years now, the damage it does to the fan base and local businesses, all of who will have put money in and seen the club go through this process time and time again, cannot be underestimated.
I say this everytime, but they still haven't bottomed out or realised the situation they are in, as soon as they get the slate wiped clean, they'll go out and pump money into players based on an optimistic financial model thinking they are only a hot streak away from 10k crowds and return a SL.
It'll be Huddersfield in a few years time.
Oh how i miss The Tri Nations, GB, NZ and Aus. With Adminsitration an annual news headline and French, Scottish, Welsh and Irish teams all being propped up by a game with no money in it, i expect more heartache for Fans and less interest outside of the diehards.
P.s Dane owes us nowt, thanks for all the hard work and effort, i honestly thought he would make the Legends board in time, some of these young lads need to come through or we are looking at own goal after own goal in the last 12 months or so. I hope they know what they are doing. Nobodies bigger than the Club i accept, but i cant help feeling they have let Dane down, he gave us everything he had. We need more Danes, not 10% cuts.

| To be fair, the 10% pay cut has been reported as being transferred to the bonus for making the top 4. When put that way, it doesn't sound quite as bad for the players.
Purely hypothetical numbers, but let's say a player is on £20k, with a £4k bonus for making the top 4. The new deal is £18k, but with a £6k bonus for making the top 4. Makes more sense to me when looked at in that way, with a bigger incentive to get into the middle-8's - at which point everyone wins.

| It doesn't sound so bad when put like that, agreed, but what faith could Dane have that his team mates would get us in the top 4, based on last season, not a lot of faith i would guess, and he doesn't have that many years left playing.
Its not only me that surely noticed Dane and Adam were the only forwards that looked like denting the opposition last season, id sooner have kept them both and released someone else, im not privy to the numbers, but the club almost seem apologetic, having said that id rather be in our shoes than the Bulls, we just cannot afford another year of screw ups and bad decisions, i hope they know what they are doing.
This was a tough call, it clearly was a choice on both sides, i sincerely hope Richard can improve the players and not lose our best young hopes to SL, or we're in a pickle... in the words of Star Treks Bones 'if you're gonna ride in the Kentucky Derby, you don't leave your prize stallion in the Stable'
This has scared me..... ill say it again, i hope they know what they're doing.

| 3 times in 4 years and still nothing changes. They could have gone PT. But the Club and its Fans think they are better than that. Many Bull Fans mocked us When we went in to Administration or made 10% cut on wages etc. That club should t be in the Championship. They be long in Championship 1. They are a disgrace of a club. BIG iconic club was over 10 years ago.

Yep, and that's what's the concern. Dane clearly wasn't confident we could make the top 4 (albeit his move is perhaps not just about money - I understand he lives quite close to the Batley ground, and of course he did come from them to us). Top man, and gutted he's gone (going).
