West Leeds are head and shoulders above anyone in Division three.

We played them away earlier in the season, they are well drilled and love throwing the ball around.

I am very biased for obvious reasons, but I am quite convident a upset maybe on the cards.

For similar reasons to the Stags, West Leeds may be a diferent oppostion to the one we faced earlier...Leeds Rhinos U20s have gone back, so West Leeds may suffer there first loss of the season up at our place........ hopefully

Some crazy bitch with a hand held video cam tried getting footage of Greetland players & speccies close-up last season after her West Leeds team had attempeted to commence WW3 picking scraps with a bunch of kids who decided enough was enough & stood up to them in the good old fashioned way. Her mantra was "we'll effing kill you over at our place". Beware the hand held cam or the silly woman attatched to it haha. Even her own players & speccies were playing hell about her madhead behaviour in the bar after the game. Apparently, she was fed up of their club getting blamed for everything, shame she switched the recordbutton about an hour too late after the thugs had had their usual saturday aft fix. She'd have been better off filming her own speccies touchline, the one where they were supping cans of Strongbow & some of them smoking weed.

It appears, they don't travel the same as they are at home.

That was Woodhouse Warriors, not West Leeds...

Woodhouse were formally Headingley Hawks, Woodhouse Hawks... and the 100 other names they have been called in previous seasons.

Oh aye ! Isn't it them who Tiger Handforth coaches ? All the same those former Yorkshire league lot in my opinion. That's partly what's killing off the game at amateur level some of the travelling. You couldn't beat a pub crawl back from Oldham & Rochdale or even Brighouse or Bradford back in the day.

Due to circumstances beyond my control I was too late to go to Greetland so went to Irish v Queens. A very good game Irish losing narrowly. In my humble opinion Queens no 12 man of match with either Brock or little Dave Smith very close. Do you agree Leon? Mind you your hat was very fetching.

Yes agree, think our lads were frightened of Queens today. Credit to Queens though they turned up with no subs and got stuck in.

Yes and their no 13, credit to him for turning up, never touched the ball in the whole game.

Cracking shoulder charge from Muddy in the first half. Good job the ref hasn't studied the new laws.
As I always say, Rugby League at any level is a very hard game.

Due to illness i didn't get to watch the Greetland game but son No.1 tells me it turned out the way one would expect.

Our referee wanted to send me off yesterday after I gave him some constructive criticism. Thornhill Trojans are horrible grubs

Just fib to the mrs, always worked for me on a saturday. Just go home ratted a couple of hours earlier than normal & play hell about how cold it's been all aft.

Greetland v Odsal Sedburg today, very physical, Odsal ran out easy winners.
Young master Smith at 8 was probably the pick of the forwards but on the whole Odsal were more physical, not dirty, but certainly knew how to wind up Greetland. Two players for Odsal sin binned but in my honest opinion I think the ref just wanted to calm them down.
Colin, perhaps discuss with your lad his opinion, I felt Greetlands no 6 was trying to over complicate some moves and certainly a few of his tongue lashings upset his own players.
But on the whole well done a very entertaining game.

I've been out prog-rock gigging all day & night John but he did text me to tell me the result & that he got M.O.M off his own team & the opposition chose him too. He's had an outstanding season & needs to take the summer off, this is his 3rd consecutive season including last summer back-to-back. He'll probably read your comments himself anyway on here matey. Am very proud of him this season above the others he's played, he's maturing into a decent-ish prop.

There is alot of bad blood between Greetland and Odsal so I would of rather of got a win than man of the match to be honest but I will happily take both MOMs.

Also, the only reason I came onto this conversation was to wish good luck to the Siddal lads today, I have a few mates in that team and I wish them all the best against Keighley Cougars in the challenge cup.
