Sam got exactly what he deserved. He goes around dishing it out and constantly causing bother,he is a nutcase who if he controlled himself could easily play super league.i wish he was still in a fax shirt cos he is head and shoulders above any of our forwards.

I'm fine Charlie. When Leigh come to The Shay or we travel to the LSV I am always on the lookout for someone with a big red nose. The thing is the only one I spot is Mrs Hudd-Shays!

Keighley came close to beating us by playing rugby. You came close by trying to punch us off the pitch, I know which team gets my respect. Think you'll also find you got more bans (gamewise) from the game at the Shay as well.

Most of our incidents come from teams trying to take our heads off because they can't beat us by playing rugby , funny thing is if Fax had carried on playing rugby theyrobably would have won. .

Whilst it's good that Barlow is ok and his injury is not serious, he does deserve what he gets. His demeanour since he has left Fax has been embarrassing, and it has annoyed fax fans. Which wouldnt normally be a big thing, but it is when he his one of our own.

Barlow is a prime expample of the sacrifice young men have to make to become an average part-time player: an education.

Perhaps Fax did resort to thuggish tactics to try and win. It worked for Leigh at The Shay this season, so spare me your pontificating up there from the moral high ground. In the absence of any real quality in the way we play, I'm glad we are at least doing something to try and win

Barlow is a lowlife who puts in cheapshots and punches often that are ignored or unseen by the officials. He is prepared to do this and as such deserves a bit of his own medicine from Manning. He allegedly spat at Fev fans at the Grand Final and his comments about Fax fans on Facebook etc are not in order. I dont wish any player to be injured but when a player like Barlow is willing to dish it out then he deserves what comes to him when people retaliate or line him up.
Leigh fans need to stop being so soft and crying over nothing. League is a physical game and your players are all too willing to throw punches as much as any other. Your team have players who are every bit "Thugs" as Manning- Barlow being one. Had the tackle/shoulder charge happened a couple of years ago Manning likely would be on a much lower charge. Well done Dane Manning just the execution and timing was out. For me its an over reaction and the Leigh clubs decision to say it was a suspected Skull fracture was wrong as then it makes something worse than what it was.

Fax are poorly coached and yes they did go to spoil Leigh. But have Leigh not done the same at The Shay this year? Have Leigh not gone looking to spoil and rough up Leeds? Leigh fans need to take the glasses off as the players and certain tactics from Leigh have at times been similar to what Fax tried. And Leigh have one of the worst disciplinary appearances in the League. I dont have a problem with Leigh fans in general but a few need to wake up and smell the coffee

I think eveyone who's watched the Championship over the past 5 years will have at least a couple of Sam Barlow stories.

Topically, when playing for Fax V. Batley, Barlow put a deliberate head shot on Johnny Campbell.
He then looked round to see who he could try and start a fight with, and saw Dane Manning strolling towards him pointing at him. Surprise surprise, 'Slammin' Sam' quickly skulked back into the defensive line to hide hehind his mates.

I'm confident fans of his current or past clubs Leigh, Halifax, Featherstone or Sheffield will be able to recount a tale or three of mindless violence and foul play from this egregious inividual,
