On dry ground Thacks was always gonna come good. As for Handforth, couldnt wait for him to pull on the blue and white when we signed him and grab a game by the scruff of its neck! he hasnt really impressed as much as i thought he would.

but yesterday he was awesome, kicking was supurb and he broke the line 2 or 3 times! class act.

Robbo out wide was fantastic, hes been playing with a hernia for weeks and if he can perform like this injured then god help our challengers when hes fit!

We missed Manning on the other side yesterday though i thought. Not a bad addition for Batley me thinks!

Handforth finally got back to doing what he does best yesterday. He got involved, he was commanding the attack, setting up and executing plays and even broke the line once or twice! Hopefully now he'll stick to those performances cos boy does it show!

Got to say how much better our half backs looked yesterday, well played lads.

Nah he did the 40/20 before their first try and scored that late try but not a lot else, he gave the ball away cheaply costing them a knock on 3 times by my count. yer he is a decent player but not the class act he was whe he first came over from Oz.

What else could he have done

He did okay but you made out he was superb which he wasn't, it was not a game for anybody to stand out it was a war of attrition and we fell into the trap of trying to take them on head on instead of using our brains and the ball. It was a dirty game from BOTH sides loads of head shots and laying on which the Ref allowed, he was weak, we lost the plot at the end.

We'll see who's laughing and who's asking for money from the RFL come September you peg selling turd.

One of the problems this season is that we seem to be making really effing stoopid mistakes. Everybody was telling me that we'd be far more professional this season with KH in charge instead of Calland but I'm not seeing it. Really getting frustrated because we keep showing we can turn it on but then we implode, I can accept we are not going to be brilliant every week, but it's the big swings in performance and professionalism that's doing my head in.
