the ref was bad for both sides for example one of the trys for you guys in the second half was obstruction. but it was a decent game and i reckon it will be the grand final at the end of the season.

What does any of that even mean?

The 'obstruction' try could have gone either way; I actually think Laughton just about got it right as the Widnes mon had took the dummy anyroad, though I believe the linesman actually wanted to disallow the try and was overruled.

Well done Widnes today. They were up for it and we lost because of a low completion rate. OK...the ref wasnt too good for us but he didnt drop the ball...good luck in the final.

Cheers, its hard to take as we did not play like we can today, glad we came back and made you sweat, we would have won if Blacky had not dropped that ball.
We need to learn how to protect the ball more, we coughed it up far too often today, in a cup semi final you have to keep it tight and take your chnaces, Widnes did and we didn't today.

So far this season, it has been a privilege to be in the same league a Halifax. Despite almost complete dominance so far, we have had little of the boastful nonsense we've had from Hull KR, Castleford and Salford fans, when they were in a similiar position.

I'd also like to add what a great game and atmosphere yesterday. It's good to see 'fax on the up even if yesterday wasn't yours. Contests like that are what the game is all about. This season is far from over.
