Interesting to view what you guys would say is the RIGHT decision and what would be a 'bollocked' up one (realistically)?

Well one of the latest and silliest rumours Ive heard is Wakey are to be relegated, but if they can get their ground improvements in place by end of next year and Cas haven't started on their phantom stadium, then they'd be switched around, Preposterous I know but this is the RFL.....

You'd have thought so, also been noises about Quin's dropping out as current backer is no longer willing to cover the losses they incur. One things for sure, there's a lot of rumours going around. But come licence day I doubt they're going to stop. Clubs will still be running at a stretch to keep up there and with the economic climate still not being great, probably a matter of time until someone else goes bust

I wouldn't get too over excited about the decision on the 26th, I very much doubt that Halifax will be chosen, various reasons spring to mind, such as not filling all the required criteria

Yes, you do have a reasonably decent ground, that would be if all 4 sides could be used , but with one suffering major structural failure, sorry thre sides to a ground doesn't count.

1st - we have a certificate from the RFL to show we meet criteria

2nd - the shay has been used for super league matches this season

3rd - leigh didn't even qualify to apply

4th - if all super league are as sad blinkered as you, I'm glad we won't make it!

Almost certain, just a question of who. Not a month goes by when someone or other isn't grumbling about their finances. It would be interesting what help Quins would get in that situation in comparison to others.

A non bolloxed up announcement would be Quins and Crusaders out and Fax in, but we all know that is not going to happen.

If there are no cameras down at the Shay on that day, then we arent in... Just look at how lucky Sky got having cameras at Widnes (just in case!!)

Didn't help that you told then you didn't want them their and then only agreed to one in the boardroom did it?

Widnes had 3 rooms full of fans, players & staff you'd want your cameras there either way (as they where in 200icon_cool.gif!

There are no cameras scheduled to be at The Shay on July 26th, so read into that what you will. Things may change between now though I admit, this is the RFL/Sky Rollercoster we are all riding!!

I am 99% certain SL will not contain a side from Halifax next year sadly.

Cos everyone should want their team to play at the highest level. Of course we want to dine at the top table. Who would not?

Only me it would seem , then again the prospect of continuous years getting spanked and having nothing to play for after round 7/8 doesn't appeal

Continuous years of winning in Championship and having it mean absolutely nothing doesn't appeal either!

The RIGHT decision would be to stick to their own rules and that means clubs who have not met the criteria should not be in SL, so by that we should be in and Wakey and Cas and even Salford OUT as they do not have their stadiums ready NOW.
But this being the corrupt RFL they will not stick to these rules and my bet is on us not getting in and I am not even sure they dare relegate anybody they will be too scared of being sued.
It a system end of story hate it and even non RL fans find it a weird and unfair system.
But while Fat Controller and his sidekick Lewis are in charge we have no chance.
Strange that as the last 3 years we have been one of the most succesful teams in our league on and off the pitch!
But our time will come when they need us to replace the defunct Crusaders and they will go belly up, said it many times and good riddance they should never have been let in (twice) anyway.

But this is where the RFL have given people the runaround. Just because Wakey haven't got a stadium doesn't mean that they haven't met the aggregate criteria. Just because Crusaders went bust doesn't stop them scoring points elsewhere. This is the beauty of their system. Aside from changing their own rules at will (and without announcement) they can also manipulate a club's total point scoring in a subjective way. In other words, they can have who the hell they want in SL. And talk of legal challenges? Do me a favour. On what basis is a challenge to be mounted? A lawyer will blow holes through any challenge quicker than a fart bubble rises in a bath.

A lesson we should all learn from the last three years - suck it up and deal with it. How do we get the RFL to let us in? We get a backer. Widnes went into administration for christ's sake and have won virtually feck all in three years. Yet they are in. They are in because they now have a backer with substantial monies. Money talks and the RFL are all ears. That's how we do it folks. The hunt is on . . . . . .

But that isn't the real answer is it Rich , double your fan base and you'll be in , that is something Widnes also had/have , and it is that which makes them a genuinely viable SL club , more viable than some already in there
