Thought you`d be all pleased to know that while I was selling programmes today I did a bit of market research.
We had some Huddersfield fans who couldn`t be bothered to travel to Leeds.
We had Dewsbury fans who came to see "what all the fuss was about"
We had Batley fans who were not interested in going to France.
We had Keighley fans who decided to just turn up.
And a pair of Hull fans staying over this way.
I wish I could have had a debrief on their way back out.

I saw a Bulls shirt and a Batley shirt.

Was going to mention that . . . they probably don't even watch them! They were playing today!

If I was in charge I would ban all Bradford Bulls shirts from the ground...they're a mess!!

Oh dear - Vikingman will certainly latch onto this as sure fire proof that Gleeson has already signed for Widnes, in fact, Cullen probably walked into the Halifax dressing room at half time waving the contract and while Matt was giving his half time talk, Gleeson was busy checking the terms - isn't that right Vickyman?

i wouldnt even be able to see why these players would want to leave apart from more money. halifax is a club on the rise and is moving forward very nicely i wouldnt see why they would want to leave.

Good turn out from the Barrow followers. I think they must like the Shay because they did not want to leave at the end of the game.

They stayed to cheer their team off after the warm down and looked like they were camping down for the night. They watched all the post match interviews that the Sky cameras were doing and only slowly left the terracing in dribs and drabs.

Well done to the supporters for an entertaining day and a good vocal following. Hope to see you again at Blackpool for the final.

Scott Grix was the guest today in the pre match dining - he brought Oli Wilkes along with him as well. Great lads and they really enjoyed the game.
