Living overseas I only get to see Fax games maybe once every two years. Fortunately I was lucky enough to be in town for the Bately game on Sunday and not only was it a good (if nerve wracking at times) result, but the atmosphere created by the Fax fans was absultely fantastic. It’s been pretty flat at the few games I’ve attended over the last ten years, but Saturday was a real flashback to the great atmospheres at Thrum Hall in the 80’s and 90’s. A big well done to the group who sang their hearts out and inspired the team. Continue as you are and you’ll be a major factor in attracting lapsed supporters and young uns back to the club, as it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end when they’re in full voice.

Massive game for you boys on Sunday. For us we are just little old Halifax on the lowest salary level in the top 4 having a nose bleed at being third in the league and mustering more than 150 supporters to come across the Pennines. Am I right in saying your parachute payment was far greater than what we are spending this year on our squad(£500k v £350k allegedly?) That's without Degsy's money?
